@FiberyHQ@_antoniokov I am hoping the next steps are for us to be able to use agents to modify entity views so there is a consistent UI experience. The ability to select an area and have the agent redesign it would be great throughout the platform. I am also hoping we can build reusable widgets.
@kepano@AndreBaltazar@obsdmd Is the toolset / process for this available so that it can be applied to other tools? I’m really interested in exchanging information between fibery and obsidian. Fibery is an amazing tool but there are things that only obsidian can do.
@giswqs I wish we were able to bring the power of GeoLibre into a tool like @obsdmd so that notes, methodologies, references and other information could be in the same place as spatial data Ana spatial analysis. It might be time for spatial data to be treated like other data
@FiberyHQ Does this mean that there may be an ability in the future to code/develop custom pages/widgets? Agents can take you most of the way, but ability to fine tune things would be really helpful!
@marcorus I’m trying to find a replacement for CubicExplorer. It has been my favourite forever, but is having some issues on Win 11. The main feature I need are the flexible bookmarks. You can bookmark anything, rename and nest bookmarks. Any suggestions?
@fibery_io You would then define the styles, including default, on the database page. When mentions are added inline, the three dot menu gives you style options rather than field list.
@fibery_io For example, when mentioning a contact inline, I don’t really need their contact details. However, there are cases where I want to list a few key contacts in a bullet list and have their phone number and email displayed. My only option is to build a filtered inline table.
@fibery_io This will be a true game changer. No more “helper” fields 😍 I don’t want to get greedy but any chance we will see formula-based values for filters?
@FrancescoD_Ales @fibery_io is hands down the best tool for managing structured data, taking actions on it and generating insights. It doesn’t get the attention it deserves. If @mdubakov long term vision is implemented, it will be truly unbeatable IMO
@chrisshank23 This looks very interesting. I wish all the note apps out there would let you drop in a lightweight spreadsheet in and then pass data back and forth with it. Would be amazing to have this in something like @obsdmd
I don’t know how they did it, but the greatest trick ESRI played on us is to convince everyone that every other solution is unsafe! I guess “Nobody ever got fired for choosing ESRI”
Are there any recent institutional scans showing where and how open source GIS is used successfully, particularly in the public sector? @nyalldawson @locatepress@shermange@PetersonGIS#gis
I’m just frustrated that a few institutional GIS gatekeepers can say things like QGIS is a security risk and have IT leadership that has no clue or interest in this area take that as gospel.
@fibery_io Great start! General work hours ( e.g. 8:00-5:00) as well as a setting for work days (to allow users to define work days and not just assume Mon-Fri) would be amazing additions!
