“AI is a tool” fuck you. Your “tool” is wasting natural resources and destroying the planet and all it’s doing is taking work away from talented people. AI isn’t an answer, it’s a monument to laziness and corporate greed
@GusoMilkarella “Filler” episodes helped to develop the characters more and actually get you to care about them. Nowadays you gotta rush through the plot because Netflix only wants 8-10 episodes. But theyll give you 250 mil to make it look like an insurance commercial
@analogouslife@DiscussingFilm You’re not a creator. You type suggestions to a program that generates images compiled of preexisting data. Nothing is being created. Call yourself an artist if it makes you sleep at night but you’ll never understand creativity
The “oh boohoo” reaction to this is fucking baffling. You realize that days on a film set are LONG and EXHAUSTING no matter what aspect of the production you’re involved in. Just because he’s a high paid actor doesn’t mean he isn’t also putting in a fuck ton of work everyday
Jacob Elordi tells Gwyneth Paltrow that it's "bullsh*t" and a "f*cking lie" to say "the worst day on a movie set is still better than the best day in the real world" because “the worst day on a film set is really demoralizing.”

@jared_hartless@offbeatorbit Every single person in the cast has attempted to have a career outside of Harry Potter while still maintaining a relationship with it; meanwhile, Felton has only ever talked about the one role he played when he was 10
‘Breaking Bad’ creator Vince Gilligan says he hasn’t used AI because “no one has held a shotgun to my head and made me do it yet”
“I will never use it, no offense to anyone who does!”

Obviously props to Elordi for going all out but it always breaks my heart as an industry worker to never hear the makeup artists getting praise for actually DOING the work for 10-12 hours. Sure he wore the makeup but like… someone had to painstakingly apply that
Jacob Elordi spent up to 10 hours a day in the makeup chair for ‘FRANKENSTEIN’
• 42 prosthetic pieces across his entire body
• 14 pieces around his head & neck
• He’d sometimes arrive at midnight & stay up all night for makeup fitting
