@PastTheEyeTest My favorite part of the 2026 Orioles is that they own the season series against every division leader in the AL and 1 of 2 in the NL with the series vs MIL TBD.
vs TB 8-5
vs HOU 5-1
vs CHI 4-2
vs LAD 2-1
vs MIL TBD
vs ATL 1-2
Overall 20-11 vs the "best" teams with a .645 win%.

🚨🚨ORIOLES TOP PLAYS OF THE FIRST HALF 🚨🚨
There have been ups and downs for the Orioles this season. The downs were down, but the ups were way up. Here are the top 15 plays of the first half, by Win Probability Added (WPA) according to Baseball Reference. 🧵
@OriolesParade@RamonUriasFan project-ability? age difference?
hopefully Baz can just pitch now, instead of stressing over a contract situation (injury prone history, maybe that contributes to stress levels)
Also, the production we had created a product last year that was horrible, so no, not always.
@chuckvirts@kambrice1tv absolutely not. Baz is going to start as may games as he can until eventually becoming a bullpen guy in the playoffs.
Framber
Bradish
Rogers
Baz
Kremer
(LR/every now and then rest day starter) Eflin
Wells
Baz could be one of our best starters by the end of the year.
Not only quality innings, but frontline postseason starters (Peralta, Suarez, Rogers) and backend guys that could ramp it up even faster and get even nastier out of the pen in the playoffs (Baz and Bradish). It makes so much sense, and the price wouldn’t be unreasonable to pay.
all things considered, the Orioles have a good opportunity to sign Suarez and/or trade for Freddy Peralta.
I understand this is just a small piece of the equation to being a great pitcher, but imagine a world where we have three names on this list heading into next year.
mean their rotation’s WAR would have been 16.9 collectively. Bradish threw 32 innings as well, and Baz is projected 2.0 WAR this year. I understand Kremer would take a backseat, but this covers the pitching rotation for the entire year.
Quality innings would be everywhere.
Peralta is a one year rental in the Brewers eyes, or else they would have already extended him. It’s kinda just classic Brewers not paying any starters, because they find ways to supplement through a deep pitching system.
We traded 4 (5) prospects that are back end top ten in our system and below for the SP with the 11th best stuff in baseball, 3 years of control, home road splits that suggest positive regression, and room to grow.
Can't fathom how anyone has an issue with the Baz trade.
