$13M? This is an iconic American place and was in serious disrepair.
Get over the TDS and celebrate this is getting done for our 250th. 🇺🇸
My father never wanted to do the work my grandfather did for the same life he provided.
My grandfather would beg him to use his God given strengths not the illusions of society.
🚨 BREAKING: The Chief of Chicago Police is being praised nationwide for the moment he STOOD WITH ICE instead of the Left
"Let me make this CLEAR! Federal agents, ICE, HSI, are officers. They are agents of law enforcement."
"If you box them in...plow a VEHICLE, you're using DEADLY FORCE. And THEY can use deadly force in response to stop YOU!"
"We need to be clear about these laws. We cannot become a society where we just decide to take everything in our own hands and start to commit crimes against law enforcement!"
"It is a crime. You may not like what they're doing. I can understand that there's a lot of emotions out there, but that does NOT mean that you get to commit a crime, especially one that could lead to deadly force."
"We need to keep everyone safe. Our responsibilities when it comes to federal agents, and I've been asked these questions, we do not interfere with the duties and responsibilities of federal agents."
This is literally just common sense.
Every single police chief should be saying this. This is DEEP BLUE CHICAGO!
Why do people believe that taxing billionaires more is suddenly going to fix all of our problems?
In 2025, the federal government spent $1.8 TRILLION more than they made in tax revenue. If we instituted a 100% wealth tax and confiscated all the stock holdings of Elon Musk, Larry Page, Jeff Bezos, Sergey Brin, Larry Ellison, and Mark Zuckerberg you would be able to balance the budget… for one year. What are you going to do the year after that?
Assuming a 5% wealth tax per year, taxing those 6 billionaires would raise $94 billion. That means the deficit would be $1.7 trillion instead of $1.8 trillion. Meanwhile all those guys lose control of their companies. What exactly does that solve?
We can’t tax our way out of this situation. Cracking down on waste, fraud, and abuse is essential.
94% of Ro Khanna’s contributions came from outside his district (CA-17). Only 5% came from within District 17, while over $9M came from out of district.
He has become a hard leftist Congressman, abandoning the 56% Asian American immigrants who he supposedly is supposed to represent.
We want economic mobility and he is about to bring down the hammer destroying tech and jobs. I grew up in Fremont. I learned to code there. My parents bought their first home there. This is not what the people of CA-17 want. The aunties and uncles don’t want Ro. And they’re tired of him.
He is selling out our immigrant communities to role play as a hard leftist in DC, to play culture war games, to vilify businesspeople.
For what? For his aspirations for higher office. He forgot his community. And people who forget they are in public service to their community get removed from public office.
It's time to remove laptops from classrooms.
24 experiments: Students learn more and get better grades after taking notes by hand than typing. It's not just because they're less distracted—writing enables deeper processing and more images.
The pen is mightier than the keyboard.
This woman is probably one of the single best resources on the internet.
Her research just sucker punches me sometimes, but the truth is like that; so many of us exist inside a bubble of pretty lies because the truth is just too scary.
We can't look away anymore.
You are a taker, not a maker. All you’ve done your whole life is take from the makers of the world.
The zero-sum mindset you have is at the root of so much evil. Once you realize that civilization is not zero-sum and that it is about making far more than one consumes, then it becomes obvious that the path to prosperity for all is just let the makers make.
Regarding Tesla, the reality is that I have been given nothing.
However, if I lead Tesla to become the most valuable company in the world by far and it stays that way for 5 years, shareholders voted to award me 12% of what is built. Anyone who wants to come along for the ride can buy Tesla stock.
If Tesla “merely” becomes a $1.999 trillion dollar company, I get nothing. This is a great deal for shareholders, which is why they voted so overwhelmingly to approve this, for which I am immensely grateful.
And they did so by a margin far more than you won your political seat.
Ma’am, it is long past time to be honest with the American people. On January 3, I requested National Guard assistance, but your Sergeant at Arms denied it. Under federal law (2 U.S.C. §1970), I was prohibited from calling them in without specific approval. That same day, Carol Corbin at the Pentagon offered National Guard support, but I was forced to decline because I lacked the legal authority.
On January 6, while the Capitol was under attack and despite my repeated calls, your Sergeant at Arms again denied my urgent requests for over 70 agonizing minutes, “running it up the chain” for your approval.
When I needed assistance, it was denied. Yet when it suited you, you ordered fencing topped with concertina wire and surrounded the Capitol with thousands of armed National Guard troops.
