Liverpool competition is not Man City. @LFC competition is Liverpool from last year. We just need to play 10% better than last year. #YNWA#Liverpool#LFC
@mysteriouskat What I am noticing especially in this platform is that people have been calling out fakes very effectively. It really boils down to IMO whether we want to know the truth or just like to go along with what suits us and makes us feel good. Especially true in politics.
What I did not understand is ... one reason that folks at @a16z gave why they are supporting Trump is because the dems are bad for small business.
Politics aside ... the FTC going after #BigTech should be good for small business. What am I missing?
The $HOOD overall roadmap looks promising. They have targeted the younger gen market and keep adding relevant offerings for them. And they have executed well.
Definitely a company to keep an eye on for the long-term.

Excellent article by @greg_ip in the @WSJ for anyone interested in current and historical #Economic indicators.

This will be interesting to follow along. The #biotech and #PharmaceuticalIndustry has lengthy sets of activities that need to be performed sequentially.

I am not sure where I can lead this discussion to. But I would like to read and hear about experts (futurists) painting various scenariors around this.

Has Gen AI (Generative AI) given rise to the future Gen AI (Generation AI)? The current cohort, Gen Alpha, is until 2025. Perhaps the next cohort will be Gen AI.

This generation will likely have no idea how life was prior to AI. They may even be in a world of extreme abundance. We may be doing completely different things and have very different purpose.

@patrick_oshag Whoa - have to take a few years off to read these.
But seriously thank you for the list. See several familiar ones and will check out the others.
The mentor's role is to lay out options for the decision and their potential impacts. It is not to say what to do. That responsibility lies solely with the person who must make the decision.
Decision Making and Mentor - one of the most important activities for professional growth, whether in a career or running a business, is decision making. It is arguably the most important activity.
Ideally not someone in the family as there is emotional attachment and a tendency to be biased. Also, preferably not someone who works at the same place higher in the org. There could be bias there as well.
Nice to see some contrarion information on the adoption of #GenerativeAI
There will be trials and errors before wider adoption. Businesses realize it is not "plug and play".
Your business isn’t using generative AI? Don’t worry. It’s not alone. https://t.co/dvYeob7iAJ via @WSJ
