Today we announce 1Password for Agents platform, building with companies @Muse, SpaceX Super Intelligence Grok @Bot, @AnthropicAI’s @Claudeai, @OpenAI, @TownAI, @Browserbase, @Browser_use, @heydana_ai, Instinct, @usekernel, @Perplexity_ai, @tryramp, @Tomo, and @wajo_ai, with more integrations on the way. 🎉
We've heard from so many of our customers who want to use these new personal AI agents to help them get more done, but want more control over what the agent can access with the same trust and ease of use they get when using 1Password directly.
1Password for Agents gives your agents access without giving up your passwords. When an agent reaches a sign-in form, it requests a credential from your vault. If you approve the request, 1Password directly auto-fills the credential in the destination site so the agent can’t see or take possession of the credentials.
The agent gets the task done, but it doesn’t get your passwords..
You stay in control. 1Password for Agents free and optional for personal and family accounts. Unless you opt-in to an agent connector, agents cannot touch your vault.

agency take: the clients who push back hardest are usually the ones worth keeping.
The ones who say yes to everything are the ones who churn six months later.
Agency owners, has that matched what you've seen?
The Shopify phishing hack is real, and it’s still happening.
One of our merchants got hit TODAY.
The concerning part? The app responsible wasn’t even on the lists circulating: Amai PreOrder Manager.
Other apps reported: • Hulk Product Options • Swym Wishlist Plus • Selleasy • Hextom • Qikify • 17TRACK • Boost AI Search & Filter • Privy • Consentmo
Still no clear picture of how widespread this is.
Anyone else seeing this with apps that haven’t been reported yet?
Every brand moving to Shopify asks "how long will the migration take?"
Wrong first question.
The right one is "what are we NOT bringing over?"
Half the custom stuff on your old platform is tech debt pretending to be a feature.
@CaswellCharles Been playing for 30+ years. I cannot play like that. Don’t want to play like that. Don’t like listening to that. It’s impressive, for sure. But this isn’t playing guitar.
I just did this from NY to VT. Stopping as rest stops that were good for my wife and son, and at superchargers along the way. You can also request it not deviate from route. It’s great. Not perfect. But holy shit… what are you comparing it to?! Some UI updates to improve altering the route would be ideal.
We are starting to test ads in ChatGPT free and Go (new $8/month option) tiers.
Here are our principles. Most importantly, we will not accept money to influence the answer ChatGPT gives you, and we keep your conversations private from advertisers.
It is clear to us that a lot of people want to use a lot of AI and don't want to pay, so we are are hopeful a business model like this can work.
(An example of ads I like are on Instagram, where I've found stuff I like that I otherwise never would have. We will try to make ads ever more useful to users.)
@d0wnsideofme Knowing this won’t stop 99.9% of people from ordering from the apps. No one is calling and dealing with humans over the phone. Even if it saves them money.
How many are migrating from Shopify to Woo? There’s value in Security, Compliance, Uptime, and all of the tech Shopify is deploying. Woo is cheaper. Yes. But 99.9% of brands doing over $10M (and most doing far below) wouldn’t move to WOO regardless of price. Otherwise, WOO would have won already.
@StarGirl_YSQ It’s not even in the top 100 of most complicated songs to play on guitar. However, it’s still VERY impressive, if that’s the first song he learned to play.
