I know after 8 years I shouldn’t be, but I’m still baffled at how many Christians enthusiastically embrace a man whose character, words, actions, and lifestyle stand in such stark contrast to the values of the scriptures they claim to believe.
American Christianity’s failure to stand up to trumpism or even to see it for what it is, is enough to realize that the religion, whatever use it may have for individuals in their personal worship, is not the great Uniting force it claims to be. It’s a weapon more than anything.
It's about having an R next to your name in Utah. Despite lip service paid to being politically neutral in the present, the primary religion in Utah decades ago has a history of pushing the right wing politics and we see the fruits of that brainwashing today.
I could barely sleep all night and got up to the confirmation that I feared.
How 70+ million people can vote for a person who has repeatedly shown he has no moral character whatsoever says a lot about our lack of education and critical thinking skills.
It also speaks to the hypocrisy of those people and organizations that claim to believe in Jesus yet are willing to vote for a man that has none of his attributes whatsoever. I'm looking at you Utah.
Looks like I overestimated the American people.
This election isn’t over, but this should have been the biggest electoral landslide in history.
It’s like people are actively voting for America to fail.
@slashfilm should just really stop writing articles about Star Trek. It seems there is often a glaring error in whatever they write.
The Defiant shows up in First Contact, not Insurrection.
