"God is not stereotyped. He works in all of us in a different way. He gets into our lives. He causes things to happen to us that make us stop and think."
As Mary Beth and I are walking/praying through the “valley of the shadow” with some of our elderly family members right now, the truth I got to sing about with @VGcom and @ladya at the Dove awards last Fall are hittin’ hard…so thankful for Jesus’ promise that He gives us in Rev. 21:4!
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” Hallelujah & Amen!
In MLB history, only one team has had the following numbers over the first 25 games of a season:
+50 or better run differential
30+ home runs
200+ pitching strikeouts
0 blown saves
That one team is the 2026 @Braves.

What would be his biggest tip to young athletes trying to get to the next level?
“A lot of people work hard…
it’s the people that work hard & are able to stack nutrition & sleep & those things on top of it.”
Listen up:
@jmfellow Obviously my personal fav is John MacArthur. RC Sproul. Voddie. Lately I've been reading some Johnny Ardavanis, Kevin DeYoung, Rosaria Butterfield.
What a crazy week it’s been here in Nashville. Almost can’t believe what this town (and I know many others in this region) have gone through. The ice storm was devastating and will take months to clean up and years to recover from.
Our street look like a bomb exploded-complete devastation!
Our area is on Day 6 without power-there are many who are really struggling and need help but streets are shut down and it’s hard to get to everyone.
Nashville will eventually recover and comeback stronger but this is still disaster area.
Really appreciate all the Good Samaritans (like my buddy Steve Hannah) and Arborists that are out trying to help as many as they can.
If you have family or friends in this southern region I pray their finding warmth and a place to stay-temperatures this weekend here are going to still be well below freezing. Stay SAFE & Stay STRONG
While Coach Oats provided his perspective earlier today on Charles Bediako and the process of him becoming eligible to compete for the Crimson Tide, I wanted to follow up with some additional thoughts. I think it’s safe to say the majority of us have concerns about the state of college athletics and are all for uniformity versus inconsistencies.
There are many programs across the country with former G League and EuroLeague players on their rosters who have been deemed eligible. At the end of the day, these are men with professional basketball experience that are now playing in college. The distinctions between those cases and Charles’ situation are without real differences. A professional contract should be a professional contract. Why should a student-athlete who earned millions competing professionally overseas be eligible to return to college, while someone earning $50,000 annually in the NBA G League is not? Similarly, an athlete who leaves high school for professional basketball returning to college later is okay, while a student who entered the draft during college, perhaps based on incomplete or poor advice, may be barred. These distinctions are impossible to explain, undermine confidence in the system and do not meaningfully advance the educational mission of college athletics.
That said, we must remain competitive and act in the best interest of our teams. As Coach Oats stated, Charles is still within his five-year window, is 23 years old and started classes again this semester to work towards degree completion. He’s also not taking away any opportunities from a high school prospect or anyone else with there being a vacant roster spot.
If this particular case can help shape the future of the sport, and better regulation of college athletics as a whole, we welcome that.
Kudos to the Big Ten for reaching a third straight national championship game.
All that league has to do now to match the SEC's record of playing in eight straight national championship games - which the SEC has done twice since 2006 - is get there for the next five years.
A bombshell vax vs. unvax study is now seeing the light of day — and the results are staggering.
Dr. Marcus Zervos led the study, but he decided not to publish it because “publishing something like that, I might as well retire. I’d be finished.”
Here’s what the study revealed:
• Vaccinated children were 4.29 times more likely to have asthma.
• Three times higher risk for atopic diseases (like eczema).
• Nearly six times higher risk for autoimmune disorders — a category that includes over 80 different diseases.
• 5.5 times higher risk for neurodevelopmental disorders.
• 2.9 times more motor disabilities.
• 4.5 times more speech disorders.
• Three times more developmental delays.
• Six times more acute and chronic ear infections.
• In nearly 2,000 unvaccinated children, there were zero cases of ADHD, diabetes, behavioral problems, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, tics, or other psychological disorders.
• The study’s conclusion is devastating. It states: “[I]n contrast to our expectations, we found that exposure to vaccination was independently associated with an overall 2.5-fold INCREASE in the likelihood of developing a chronic health condition when compared to children unexposed to vaccination.”
If this study could be sidelined for producing inconvenient results, how many others have met the same fate?
But the truth is, you don’t need a study to notice the difference between vaccinated and unvaccinated children. 🧵
Eleven years ago today, I helped plant Cities Church.
I served as a pastor there for 8 years.
This is a normal Baptist Church.
They worship Jesus.
They love each other.
They seek the good of their neighbors.
And the Left hates them and wants to shut them down, because one of their pastors serves his country in law enforcement, putting his life on the line to remove rapists and violent criminal illegal immigrants from our streets.
The Democrats are the party of lawlessness, of cultural decay, social disorder, and death.
It’s time for Christian boldness—for courage and clarity about Jesus and sin.
And it’s time for our governing officials to fulfill their mandate and become a terror to evil conduct. They do not bear the sword in vain.
That’s what our nation needs.
WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM UPDATE 9:
WEF Day 1!
It’s early morning here in Switzerland. Here’s a glimpse of what’s ahead of me today.
NOTE: Things have exploded I see in Minneapolis. Today I introduce you to the think tank types who are the social engineers behind it all.
The church today desperately needs the humility that rejects mean-spirited religion and exemplifies kindness while upholding biblical truth. “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth” (1 John 3:18, NIV).
We were able to connect with a source in Isfahan, Iran tonight to gather more information. He says demonstrations are ongoing with live ammunition being used against protesters. Will update with more soon.
