@PatInNV@wintonARK Imagine equating manually driving a car with freedom. I wonder if travelers accustomed to horseback stated “imagine giving up your freedom by limiting your drive to roads”.
@WmBrackbill@DrTeslaFSD I’m the same. Make 600 mile trip in ‘24 Model X about 4x a year with my family of four. I’d rather have model x drive for me with 3 stops than manually drive with one stop.
@OutofSpecDetail Please confirm an OEM that consistently ships autos to customers with near perfect or perfect paint. There has to be one or more of them.
@wholemars Typically you’re correct. But go to the supercharger in Trinidad (CO) or Wichita (KS) and you’ll be ready to get out of there as fast as you can. Same goes for refueling ICE vehicles as well.
Bought Model X June 2024(Colorado resident). 335 EPA est max range. Ever since then I’ve averaged daily charge between 62-69%. Yes I’ve charged to 100% maybe 3 or 4 times max since date of purchase. And the best I can tell this Doesn’t do anything to “reset” the BMS in my favor (range wise) Currently max stated range is 307-309 miles.
I’m not saying he’s wrong and that parents shouldn’t remind their kids of concepts similar to “delayed gratification” but I grew up spending whatever money I received. For example…birthdays and Christmas etc. Since I have been on my own I have done a great job saving. I will admit this though - I have ALWAYS paid attention to folks warn about how “Social Security” will be insolvent well before I retire. I remember hearing this as a HS student in the late 90s.
