@PPLElectric I've called your services twice this morning, only to wait an hour each time to be transferred and then hung up on before the second number picks up. Your customer service is atrocious, by far the worst I've ever dealt with.
Really bad call here imo.
Making it your normal text solution was the main thing keeping Signal alive with most folks.
I have to imagine signal adoption drops significantly with this stance.
@signalapp This is extremely disappointing. SMS integration is what set Signal apart from the fragmented ecosystem of other messaging apps. It's what made it easy for less technical friends & family to switch to and stay with Signal.
In the interest of privacy, security, and clarity we’re beginning to phase out SMS support from the Android app. You’ll have several months to export your messages and either find a new app for SMS or tell your friends to download Signal.

@signalapp this is disappointing. I'm not going to use two apps for messaging, so I'll end up with a less privacy focused app. Dropping SMS support wont stop people from using it. Unfortunately I can't get everyone I know to use signal so I still need SMS
Recently @Northeastern decided to install an IoT surveillance system in our lab that researches the security and privacy of IoT devices. Turns out these devices lack privacy, security, and more importantly good adhesives.

I'm jettisoning work apps and social media for a few weeks while on holiday. But! I'm still looking for a senior vulnerability researcher who's into n-day and 0day analysis. DM me here or apply directly, and I'll talk to you in March! https://t.co/ggJst8mXgQ
@DaryllSwer@RainofTerra @neil_h_watson @dodo_sec @oilyraincloud The offer arrived via snail mail, and I believe it was pretty up front about analyzing traffic.
@DaryllSwer@RainofTerra @neil_h_watson @dodo_sec @oilyraincloud Several years ago Google offered me a similar deal if i used their router on my home network. I think the deal was for around 5 or 6 hundred dollars. I thought about faking traffic to it, but decided against it as taking their money would technically make that fraud.
@andrewfasano Same thing happened to me, it's something with the syntax formatting for tex files. If you do "set syntax=off", it'll be right again (but syntax highlighting won't obviously)
@AreTillery Perhaps I'm misunderstanding, but by is a cyclic graph do you mean the program is a never ending cycle? If so, I'd think that would just be another instance of the halting problem.
