I believe that Agenda-Setting is definitely still relevant. I see it all over my instagram and tiktok with advertisements for things I don’t even follow. The apps learn your interests and what will keep your attention and keep showing them up. #UTcommtheory

An example of the media shaping public agenda is when people make fake videos. I will be scrolling on TikTok & see crazy videos of amusement park rides falling apart that aren’t even real. #UTcommtheory https://t.co/60CwkFDcNU In this edit, they made the track disappear.

One way that current technology positively impacted our experience of the COVID-19 pandemic was it allowed families to stay connected. It was hard to see people during this time so being able to message, call, video call, and talk through social media helped this. #utcommtheory
