@ClayTravis Private sectors are also downsizing and laying off employees. It’s not federal employees at risk of losing their jobs, but there at least 4 million federal contractor employees with families to support at risk of not having contracts to work on, thus leaving them unemployed

@ClayTravis Bad take, @ClayTravis. Most have devoted years of service to the federal government, have settled for less pay than they would make in the private sector in exchange for a pension, health insurance, job security. Firing half is absurd, and would lead to skyrocketing unemployment
