@WassimLaroussi3 Not sure what you mean here - seems to me $ABVX exemplifies the perfect use case for biotech prediction markets- bet for example narrowly on pbo delta alone vs the multi-dimensional bet it presents in public markets on safety, pbo delta, and endoscopic remission magnitude
Well, glad I reduced $ABVX by 2/3 going into June between $125-133 ๐
A bit disappointed with re-entries vs lows though, mostly 90s/low 100s (one small $69.88 fill!)... have to realize it was only under $90 for less than 45 minutes. Did get a big chunk at $85 for mom at least!
Genuinely curious if everyone is holding $ABVX through readout at same sizing now weโre at $130?
I sold a bunch in IRAs today. Reduced lots above $110 basis across family accts. View is that at these prices skew leans more negative (relatively), it makes sense to sell?
I continue to not understand why we do not simply offer a TN-visa-esque path (H1B/eventual green card eligibility) to all Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese citizens
I got sick in Hiroshima. Like really sick, fever and everything. Probably ate something bad or just caught a bug.
I went to a pharmacy looking for medicine. I was trying to explain my symptoms to the pharmacist with Google Translate, probably looking miserable.
She asked if I'd seen a doctor. I said no, I'm just a tourist, I don't know how.
She made a phone call, spoke fast Japanese, then told me to wait.
Twenty minutes later, her colleague came to cover her shift, and she walked me to a clinic. Like personally escorted me there, three blocks away.
At the clinic, she explained my situation to the receptionist. Waited with me until I was called in.
The doctor spoke decent English, examined me, said it was just a virus, and prescribed some medicine.
When I came out, the pharmacist was still there. She walked me back to a different pharmacy near the clinic, helped me get the prescription filled, explained how to take everything.
I kept thanking her, apologizing for taking her time. She said "it's okay, my coworker can handle the shop."
The whole thing took like two hours of her day.
I tried to offer her money for her help. She looked almost offended and said "no, no, I just want you to feel better."
Before she left, she wrote down her pharmacy's phone number and said "if medicine doesn't work, call here. We can help you."
The medicine worked. I felt better in two days.
I went back to her pharmacy before I left Hiroshima to thank her properly. Brought her a gift - some fancy cookies from the department store.
She accepted them but only after I insisted like five times.
She asked if I was feeling better, if I enjoyed Hiroshima despite being sick. I said yes, people like her made it memorable.
She seemed embarrassed by the compliment, just smiled and said "please enjoy the rest of your trip to Japan."
@anuroopk4u@pmarca Since the 1970s, many people who wanted housing to be more affordable supported rules that made it harder to build. The result was less housing, more scarcity, and higher prices. We made housing unaffordable in the name of affordability.
@HYcorps@peter_mantas Market is still discounting likelihood of FDA reversal. Unlike with $REPL (who just needs to resubmit), $QURE has a harder path reversing written Type A minutes- historically rarer.

My read is $QURE is still fundamentally a regulatory reversal question, and not many biotech funds are inclined to underwrite those kinds of bets. Rather wait for the news, which is fair.
@sportsandcraft Iโm more inclined to short $REPL here as a hedge to my $QURE, itโs back to pre-CRL levels and I think actual approval is less likely
Adding more $QURE here. I added 3% back this week at $25 as it bottomed out and now another 3%.
I cannot believe how little readthrough $REPL reversal is flowing to $QURE. $REPL had more questionable data (search X for good pts), esp relative to HD's magnitude of unmet need.

Most of all, $REPL resubmission shows @FDA_KyleD is willing to make moves and admin is not waiting until confirmation of a new FDA commissioner to make changes. That is quite bullish for $QURE IMO.
FWIW, my core 12% pos in taxable has remained untouched.
But $ABVX has been a really interesting trading sardine with:
1. Takeout rumors preventing too much downside pre-maintenance (embedded anytime takeout vol driving really nice R/R below $105) but
2. Upside capped by maintenance uncertainty and
3. Marketwide vol to drive swings

Totally fair. Honestly I don't usually trade this much, but been driven by a few personal reasons (I know you didn't ask haha):
-I sized this up massively (30%) at the lows in late Mar and had plenty to trim
-My $QURE gains took me past a personal NW goal that made me want to take some risk off (also $QURE an example of something I traded way less)
