@JGreenFarm I have steerable tracks on db 60s from Gramlow they are built well but it takes alot of time and patience to get them tuned in well but if you have the patience they can work amazing and they work a lot better at 5 mph vrs 8-10
Remind me to change everything to ground drive for next year. No hydraulic, no electric, all ground drive seed and fertilizer. Oh and just set the PSI airbags too.
Interesting to observe what plants can do with active biology and space. Consistent double ears. Triple ears on skips. NO applied nitrogen. AEA starter and biology in furrow. Seeing beans stretch as corn pops increase. Need to do some more dialing in on corn pop. @AdvancingEcoAg
Soil moistures at @UMN_SWROC. Yes, it is still dry. Those who were hoping for rain and those who were hoping for a soil moisture record low will both be dissapointed.
Soil moisture situation continues to deteriorate in areas of Minnesota including the @UMN_SWROC. Top 2 feet are below the wilting point now. Graph includes several other historically low moisture years.
Jun Total Precip Ranks. Pretty easy to pick out the problem spots around the corn belt w/ northern IA & southern MN being in of rain. IMO, it will be difficult to reach anything near 179 yield on #corn w/o these areas participating.
The first 18 days of June are basically the driest start on record over the area. Good news is that rainfall will be around tonight/Sunday, but probably only enough to make a small dent in the deficit. A fortunate few could see an inch or two of rain. (image courtesy of IEM).

@jasonmauck1@EatMooreBeef23 We are working on a practical scale for separating corn and soybeans, harder said then done. whats old is new in agriculture, here is a photo from a farmall add from the 1950s talking about planting corn and peas together apparently farmall made a planter to plant both together
It’s here: 360 RAIN. A semi-autonomous machine that, day and night, delivers the "million dollar" rain and nutrients that lets crops thrive. https://t.co/eGqii2QpBm
