I’m now fully on board w/ abolishing timing in XC races. HS & NCAA meets are getting out of hand, you’ve got courses w/ nearly a quarter mile difference between them labeled as the same distance. Then everyone talks about what time they ran 🙄 okay but how many people beat you?

Karissa Schweizer runs down Shelby Houlihan over the final 100 meters to run an American record of 8:25.70 in the 3000 meters. All three finishers broke the previous AR.

Schweizer's time is the fastest ever by an American woman over 3k, indoors or out.

Proud of these boys for finishing sixth at yesterday’s state meet. This season we made the transition from being a team that was perpetually mediocre to a team who knew they were one of the top teams each time they toed the line. It was a special thing to be apart of.
