@BuzzPatterson Agreed. If we’re going to criticize corruption, the standard has to be the same for everyone. Trump’s crypto ventures, foreign business ties, and any questionable contracts deserve scrutiny just as much as similar actions by Dems. Principles should come before party.
@RonDeSantis@charlescwcooke Indeed. If someone immigrated to China, publicly criticized the country and its leaders, they’d likely face serious consequences. The U.S. is unusual in how much freedom it protects, even for people like him who criticize it.

@JasonJournoDC Great commentary. I suspect many reasons, but one is because of government bureaucracy. Once it is established the departments fight to keep their relevance.
