Wow, that #BikeNYC lane on Sanford btwn Kissena & Main isn't new, it faded away yrs & multiple 311 complaints ago. Now you need to start ticketing cars blocking it from Kissena To College Pt Blvd by right now it's a turn lane not a bike lane! #Flushing#BikeQNS@NYC_DOT
Thank you @Costa4NY for your principled stand against the wave of luxury developments displacing local residents and small business. Member deference should not be an excuse for anyone on @NYCCouncil to vote in favor of a project that illegally bypassed the required EIS review.
Stood with @rontkim then, standing with him now on the Flushing rezoning. I've believed from the get-go this was bad for labor, bad for our affordable housing crisis, and bad for Flushing Creek. We need to be better than this project.
@PIMPMCGEE@jxcnyc There are some wonderful pictures of Kissena Park. The bridge was amazing.
Our project won't fix everything, but we have heard some people mention bringing back a water feature (a stream) along the greenway. It could help with flooding. Come to the meeting to advocate for it.
Seriously @NYPDnews? Chalking? Walking on the road? There's not enough jails to detain all the New Yorkers you're going have to arrest for these made up justifications to limit our First Amendment rights to speak freely, peaceably assemble, and petition for redress of grievances
The NYPD internal guidance that was leaked to me re: the summer protests outlines a set of infractions in order to criminalize the protests.
Prosecutors should drop all of these charges against protestors.
We must support working families with good jobs and affordable housing. I join with @32BJSEIU in opposing the @SFWDistrict luxury development, which has compromised the integrity of our land use process with $1.7 million to bypass required EIS environmental review
These developers spent $1.7 million lobbying the City to approve the #FlushingRezoning. @NYCCouncil, ask them why they can’t afford to provide good jobs and meaningful affordable housing?
Don't let developers bamboozle @NYCCouncil into approving another massive luxury condo project that will devastate our community in the middle of a pandemic. There's still time to sign up to testify at Monday's 10am hearing with the Zoning Subcommittee: https://t.co/fwSMRMbJ0q
Please support the proposed #KissenaWay, a family-safe, continuous greenway through the heart of Queens at the upcoming Destination Greenways Workshop on Mon, Nov 16, 6:30pm. Learn more about this important #BikeNYC@QueensGreenway https://t.co/BPWDZDcbtV
After four long years, the American people finally evicted low-life grifter @realDonaldTrump for failure to live up to his lease agreement. Congrats to new tenants, Pres @JoeBiden and VP @KamalaHarris. Just remember: this is the people's house. Keep your promises or face eviction
Incredibly angry and upset, as Pedro Rodriguez says: "In the richest city in the world ... we die alone in the street ... And no one is there to take care of us." Is this who we are? Is this the city we envision when we call ourselves New Yorkers? America? https://t.co/BvFjEGs00w
Instead of draconian cuts in the middle of a pandemic, NYS and @NYCCouncil should follow San Francisco's lead and enact a #COVID19 tax on any big company that pays its highest-paid employee over 100 times more than its median worker.

Thank you @RitchieTorres@NYCCouncil for exposing the dark underbelly of a police force that often disdains and dehumanizes those they are sworn to protect. It's esp disturbing the cop they caught is responsible for combating workplace harassment https://t.co/kEhPmaCAqk #MyNYPD
Why would any developer be stupid enough to spend more than $1 million dollars corrupting our government and compromising the integrity of our land use process for an "as-of-right" development?Let’s call their bluff and stop @SFWDistrict now. We're #FEDUP, won't take no more!
