#RepublicForAravalli Successive Delhi state governments and Central governments have dragged their feet in notifying Delhi Ridge and mapping morphological Ridge , which has allowed encroachments galore and now in B1 Vasant Kunj: a private builder has managed to get permissions for constructing high rise on Morphological ridge area with a dubious title chain. Village Kishangarh was urbanized in 1966 and all the gram sabha ( common land) became property of Central Gov. In 1974 , DDA was handed over land including former gram sabha land to develop colonies. Land sharks using dubious means grabbed gram sabha land even after gaon sabhas were dissolved years back using bhumidari ( land for landless). Delhi does not have concept of private forests .
