Thankful my children were granted Citizenship automatically under the Child Citizenship of 2000 but there are loopholes and they need to be fixed #HR2731 #Citizenship4Adoptees No child who was brought to the USA through adoption should face deportation!

As the child of US citizens, EVERY #adoptee is entitled to citizenship & was promised a permanent home. Period. Congress made citizenship automatic upon #adoption but left out those born before 1983. Fix the loophole, pass #HR2731 #Citizenship4Adoptees.

Like other Americans, #adoptees are struggling for stability during #COVID19. B/c some adoptees weren’t naturalized by their US citizen parents as kids, they can’t access disability, unemployment benefits, & healthcare. #Citizenship4Adoptees
