@etieno_u@dhh Probably worth checking now cash flow positive they are i.e. is it actually a self sustainable business or does it die off the moment the foot comes off the pedal?
@grok@anderssaugstrup@BrianRoemmele@grok what is the most capable personal computer optimized for running LLMs such as Kimi 2.6 locally? If one doesn't exist - please suggest hardware required to build one. Consider a budget of $10,000
@JayaGup10 Unique insights on feedback loops for B2C, but quite a far reach today. While incumbents don't have the data structures to enable such insights ingested by LLMs, Enterprise SaaS are highly entrenched - difficult for start-ups to break in. It's more likely firms do this in house
@SharmaShradha@PMOIndia While this is fantastic to see, this tech shouldn't be classified as DeepTech. It's Robotics, or avionics.
DeepTech = technology based on hard, complex sciences and math. E.g. Supercomputing, nano-scale semiconductors, genetic engineering such as cancer therapeutics, AI etc
@UnifiedSubtext @bitsovryn @PeterMcCormack@ZubyMusic Call them developing nations & visit them to see first hand before judging them. They have happy, strong societies, surviving with scarce resources that necessitate creative use (++IQ). IQ tests are an English construct - if you don't speak the language, you will not score well
@elonmusk@JeffDean@CMantseris We need both Waymo and Tesla autonomous driving. The world is big enough for both to co exist, the technological evolves faster with competition between two different approaches.
@tqlemd@ExamineBaseball@JohnLeFevre Interest you pay goes to the bank loan. And if you don't keep up with your 30 year loan monthly payments, you lose the house. So no, a mortgage is not your money
Also looks like you are single. Consider a family of four. Childcare costs are another mortgage. $16-$18K / month easy
@levelsio The right answer is that Google owns the distribution here and Meta doesn't. Majority of the use case for a LLM chat is search / questions. So when Google has a high quality LLM model that works well, it's much easier for them to disseminate to users.
Meta isn't built for search
@LifeMathMoney Misguided take. The lady said it correctly.
I am guessing you are a single guy and no offspring.
The desire to provide stability and security is very much male instinct. If you don't get this, don't have a child. You will do tremendous harm to the world
@AmeliaDickhardt@nntaleb Agree with childcare as that truly holds people back from gainful employment.
The rest of the policies are 'robbing peter to pay paul' while making it difficult to revert.
@WR4NYGov@bryan_johnson@MattWalshBlog Hi Warren - is that out of choice or circumstance? Biology adapts when forced
I could do this in my 20s, early 30s. Now I need a min of 6.5-7 hrs of sleep consistently to function optimally.
I think there maybe < 1% of the population that can thrive on 5 hrs of sleep or less.
