Timely revisit of my version of the All-weather strategy. It performed well since I warned abt massive overallocation to bonds in the widely known version.
I tweaked allocations implementing mean-variance optimization within macro-regimes

@ReformedTrader It was an exceptional period for momentum strategies. If you roll back earlier, you can get easily drawdowns more than 50%

It seems every aspect of the life is ruled by power law

[Marc Lou @marclou]

Today is a special day for me.

I've made $3M with my 36 startups.

Solo.
85% margin.
Bootstrapped.

It took 10 years, and I loved every second of it.

After failing as an entrepreneur for 5 years, I got a job in 2021.

That's when I discovered @levelsio's journey and decided to try again.

"If he can do it, maybe I can too?"

So I started building tiny startups and writing about it.

2021 and 2022 were quiet, but I was having fun.

Everything changed in 2023 when I launched ShipFast and made my first million.

Building something people finally paid for and enjoyed made me so happy.

My first 5 years of failures taught me not to get emotionally attached to a project, because everything goes to 0 eventually.

So I just kept shipping.

It's 2026, and I've launched 36 startups.

50% never made money.
Only 11% made decent money.

Back in 2016, when I started, I believed I would make it.

If I had known it would take 7 years of failure, I probably would never have started.

That's why I'm stupidly optimistic.

I don't think in years. I don't dream big.

I think in weeks. I build tiny projects fast. And I quit even faster.

That's how I wake up happy, enjoy the journey, and eventually build life-changing projects.

If you've been following the journey, thank you. You've given my posts a sense of purpose, which has kept me going, and I'm very grateful for this. ❤️

@MiaAI_lab Fantastic - I can hit only ~90% cache, any tips how to improve?

[Ka$bek @kazbeks]

@jptissot1 Can you share the details?

[Ka$bek @kazbeks]

@SystematicPeter Does it work better on the way up or down for NDX?

Momentum, Value, and Small-caps - this year the market's going by the textbook

[THE SHORT BEAR @TheShortBear]

If this happens it will truly make people mad.

$GOOGL vs $TOTAL

@QuietProsperity Is it because of value filter?

@TechFundies Which model do you use?

[Ka$bek @kazbeks]

@GfI_Himmelreich Why don't just rebalance weights?

Cyclical top?

[KawzInvests @KawzInvests]

The Korean discount is absurd.

Samsung: 7.9x forward P/E
SK Hynix: 5.7x forward P/E
$MU: 10.3x forward P/E
$WDC: 24.9x forward P/E
$NVDA: 24x forward P/E

Same AI memory shortage. Same record demand. 2x the earnings growth expected.

Korea's $EWY up 121% and still trades cheaper than everything.

@F_Compounders I read PTSD😅

@JoachimMo1985 In stress many factors cointegrate

[Ka$bek @kazbeks]

@systvest It seems that you use sequential approach, but what if momentum fails for the stock will it be automatic sell?

[Ka$bek @kazbeks]

Another year of passive investing in balanced All-weather portfolio feels good for me. 22% YTD
