This week, I had several interesting conversations with decision-makers in the traditional payments sector.
It’s clear that almost every institution either has a stablecoin strategy or is actively developing one. But when it comes to the blockchain rails supporting those plans, there are still many unknowns.
None of the people I spoke with knew about Flare. However, they became interested when I explained why reliable, decentralized data infrastructure is essential for TradFi and DeFi to interoperate safely, and why it will also play a critical role in tokenization.
Flare will provide robust infrastructure through FCC for building AI agents that run inside TEEs, protecting their execution from tampering and making it verifiable through attestation.
Developers can already start building with TEEs on testnet as we continue working toward deployment on Songbird.
FIP.16 update
Work continues on the next phase of the approved proposal.
July network upgrades are the current target: with higher P-chain staking rewards and a 20× base-fee change in scope.
We’ll share dates when they’re confirmed.
I've been in crypto long enough to know when a moment is real. This is one of them.
10 years of Swell converging with real scale, institutional adoption, and Swell + Apex together for the first time this fall. We've been building toward this moment — see you in New York! @RippleSwell

Flint Dibble lied about me to Dr Peter Neff, has called me all the left wing buzzwords, but refuses to debate me because I said mean things back.
In reality he refuses to debate me AGAIN because he knows I will prove him the liar he is.
He has nightmares about me.
Flint Dibble is out there crying about me instead of properly educating his audience.
His ego is far more valuable to him than archaeology, truth, or integrity.
You keep filling the vaults, we'll keep raising the caps.
Flare Smart Accounts integrations with partners like @XamanWallet and @DCENTWALLETS continue to bring yield to XRP holders without changing how they custody.
AI is accelerating hacks.
crypto/ defi is uniquely exposed: open source and money-bearing.
next chapter of protocol design has to treat cover as a primitive, not a policy bolted on the side.
@Firelightfi doesn't add a feature to defi. It adds a layer that makes onchain risk legible - priced, monitored, and when something breaks, paid automatically.
Full clip of @j00sko at @OasisProtocol meetup ranting on why we need TEEs, how they work, and how to extend blockchain with confidentiality, and high performance:

What if your digital assets didn’t disappear forever if something happened to you or your device?
- Automatic transfer to your designated heirs if you miss your periodic heartbeat check-ins.
- If you lose access to your main self-custody account, assets can move to another account you’ve already chosen.
- No lawyers. No wills. No custodians. No seed phrase sharing.
Basically, a Digital Inheritance feature within the @AnodosFinance super app, transparent and immutable.
Who wants this?
Hard not to get excited about FCC
Today protocol design needs to account for something @flarenetworks is already in the middle of
--> human & agents interacting privately, pseudonymously, in an AI-native way.
Private compute. Threshold logic. Shielded keys. Verifiable outputs that trigger real actions on XRPL and other chains. FCC lays a good foundation.
Inspiring to be alongside the builders before others even notice 🫡
Exciting week ahead!
Traveling to pitch, learn, and explore new ways to collaborate with traditional financial institutions.
The gap is still big, but that’s exactly where the opportunity is.
Tomorrow I'm giving a workshop at @dappcon about @FlareNetworks Flare Confidential Compute, aka TEEs. They still have tickets. Come and learn about what's next in the blockchain computing field. I would also like your questions and comments.

I remember times when, at a conference, nobody knew what @FlareNetworks was, but that has changed. People not only know it but also want to be a part of the community. Hard work is slowly paying off.
I'll be at @BerBlockWeek till next Monday; let's catch up.
🐟 Today, 50,000 FLR gets you into staking.
Tomorrow? It might be out of reach for most.
As adoption grows and supply gets locked up, it’s only a matter of time before the average person can’t easily accumulate 50,000 FLR to qualify for staking.
The early advantage isn’t just buying.
It’s earning while you hold.
🌊 Minimum stake: 50,000 FLR
⏳ Minimum lock period: 14 days
📈 Estimated rewards: 7% APY
(provider dependent)
The question isn’t “Should I stake?”
It’s “Will I still be able to afford 50,000 FLR when everyone else wants it?” 🐟

🚨 David Grusch may have just broken his security oath!
He reveals he had access to UFO crash retrieval photos and lists the various shapes of recovered UFOs he saw
“I did get access to crash retrieval photos so I've seen the recovered vehicles. I’d say that’s the most earth shattering thing that changed my world view.
A lot of it was lenticular discs, crescent moon shape, a bunch of different morphologies the US has recovered.”
Story time.
I first heard about Flare while researching oracle solutions. At the time, I didn’t think having oracles built into the network was such a big deal.
Over time, after learning from multiple DeFi incidents caused by oracle failures, I realized this is a fundamental piece of blockchain infrastructure.
Today, Flare has the strongest interoperable infrastructure for non-smart-contract assets, and its oracles plays a key role in making that possible.
I understand this more deeply now, and I work every day to make sure the work happening across this ecosystem gets noticed.
Now try 100,000 years. Or 300,000.
Anatomically modern humans have existed for 300,000+ years. Our brain size: 1,000,000 years.
Yet most of what we build decays within a few thousand.
We're missing the overwhelming majority of the human story - and almost nobody considers this seriously
