NASA is advancing nuclear power and propulsion in space to accomplish President Trump’s national space objectives.
With SR-1 Freedom, launching in 2028, we will demonstrate nuclear electric propulsion and deliver SkyFall helicopters to Mars.
In collaboration with @Energy, these capabilities are key to future missions to Mars and beyond.
A new chapter of deep space exploration begins. 🚀
President Trump gave the world the Artemis Program, and NASA and our partners have the plan to deliver. We will standardize architecture where possible, add missions and accelerate flight rate, execute in an evolutionary way, and safely return American astronauts to the Moon, this time to stay.
This is the NASA that once changed the world. This is the NASA that will do it again.
You'll miss the American, who deals sharply but cheats no one, who is tougher than the thugs and cleverer than the tricksters, who says "I can do it" when others shrug, and who respects learning but is suspicious of those claiming to be learned, when the last one dies.
On the left is a wide-angle view inside Destiny, the first U.S. research module on the ISS, just after its hatch was opened in 2001. This milestone marked the beginning of decades of groundbreaking science in orbit. On the right, the same module years later and in full lab-mode, was designated as a national laboratory managed by the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space® (CASIS®).

“If you disagree with me, move to the front of the line.” – Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk was killed for exercising the most fundamental American rights: to assemble, to speak freely, and to share his faith. He began as a teenager with a small voice and, over time, that voice grew into the voice of a generation. Charlie created a space for debate, and for that, he lost his life.
His death did not happen in isolation. Moments like this warn us we are heading in the wrong direction — and they change history.
On the eve of the 9/11 anniversary, I can’t help but reflect: once again, though in a different way, this was an attack on freedom.
Thousands witnessed it in person on a college campus. Millions will see it online. And now, this moment of 9/10 will stand as its own marker in history — when an entire nation saw the image of a man struck down while doing what he had done a thousand times before. He was daring to speak freely, encouraging debate, and peacefully reaching those who saw the world differently.
After 9/11, Americans came together despite our divisions. We must search for that spirit again. This violence must end. It must stop. What we witnessed was evil. And it reminds us that every threat must be taken seriously. I hope today is a turning point.
Rest in Peace.
Feast your eyes on two metric tons of West Virginia graphite that will be slowing down neutrons in our first nuclear reactor by next year! Baked at over 2500C by Amsted Graphite Materials, it’s the first reactor order of American-made, nuclear-grade, graphite in over a decade.
Wow. Some eye-opening information on #nvleg potential upcoming budget difficulties in this report. Kudos to @G_BAILOR on the excellent research and analysis.
I’ve been tracking Nevada’s fiscal signals closely.
Local governments are waving red flags.

A sick, epic remix of a song over a movie trailer is a cheap trick…
…THAT I CONSISTENTLY FALL FOR.
This rendition of “Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” by U2 is awesome.
