Franklin Templeton supports passage of the CLARITY Act.
The bill would make clear how crypto is regulated. Investors would know what protections apply. Firms would know which regulators they answer to.
It’s time to provide the industry the clarity it needs.
Fidelity urges Senate passage of the CLARITY Act. The time is now for clear rules of the road that are essential to strengthening investor confidence, providing certainty for market participants, and reinforcing U.S. leadership in global digital asset markets.
The 3 leading U.S. digital asset trade groups — @BlockchainAssn, @crypto_council, and @DigitalChamber — express strong support for Senate floor consideration of the Clarity Act.
The time is now for Clarity.

@umdwbbfan That’s overly harsh criticism of our #2 scorer and a college student (not a pro). She had an off night as did others. Without her we would not have beat Ohio State and many others. As a fan, you have to accept the highs and lows and recognize they’re kids. Otherwise, focus on WNBA
With today’s vote to advance crypto market structure legislation out of the @SenateAg Committee, we are one step closer to establishing the necessary regulatory framework to make the United States the crypto capital of the world.
Thank you to Chairman @JohnBoozman as well as his staff for their leadership throughout this process. While the vote was partisan, a number of Democrat members stated their commitment to passing this important legislation. We will continue to work with them on a bipartisan basis to achieve that goal.
Really important step forward today on market structure legislation with the Senate Ag Committee passing its portion of the bill.
Thanks to Chairman @JohnBoozman for your leadership, and Sen. @CoryBooker for ultimately helping America get a comprehensive bipartisan crypto bill across the finish line.
Huge progress today on market structure legislation.
The number of hurdles left is decreasing every day and we're now closer than ever to passing the most important legislation to enable innovation in decades.
The Senate Agriculture Committee advancing a large portion of crypto market structure legislation is a big step forward. The vote wasn’t bipartisan this time, but the momentum is clearly there, with both parties working together to get a comprehensive bill done. As with any major legislation, the details will evolve as the bill moves through Congress.
This progress is significant, but we can’t wait any longer. Builders and users need lasting legislation and long-term certainty. It’s time for policymakers on both sides to come together to finish this bill and make sure the U.S. remains the leader in crypto.
Statement from CCI’s CEO @_jikim on today's Senate Ag markup:
Thank you Chairman @johnboozman, @SenateAgGop, and staff for your steadfast leadership and tireless work in support of a comprehensive market structure framework for digital commodities.
Today’s markup of the Digital Commodity Intermediaries Act is a critical step in furtherance of that goal. This bill would provide @CFTC spot market authority for digital commodities, clear rules for intermediaries, and robust consumer protections, including listing standards, disclosure requirements, and safeguards for customer property.
CCI appreciates @SenBooker and @SenateAgDems for their continued commitment to these goals and we look forward to remaining actively engaged in the process ahead to further strengthen U.S. leadership in digital assets.
Forward progress. Thank you to Chairman @JohnBoozman for your steadfast leadership throughout this process and to @SenateAgGOP members for advancing this important piece of legislation.
The global financial architecture of the future is on chain, and the United States cannot afford to cede its leadership position within it.
We will continue to engage with Senate Democrats to move the Banking portion of this bill forward and ensure final passage on the floor. We owe it to the American people to get this done.
The Digital Chamber’s CEO, @CodyCarboneDC, offered the following comment on the @SenateAgGOP’s vote today to advance their portion of crypto market structure regulation out of the full committee.
Congratulations to the Senate Agriculture Committee for advancing the "Digital Commodity Intermediaries Act" out of committee. While we wait for the Banking Committee’s markup, the DEF team will continue working with both Committees to advocate for the rights of software developers and users of decentralized technologies.
Big thanks to Chairman @JohnBoozman for driving forward the CLARITY Act through the @SenateAg Committee. The Committee has just taken one enormous step forward in making the US the leader in digital innovation.
