@flightradar24 Hi there, love the Live Activities feature on iOS, one of the best I’ve seen! But - how do I cancel a Live Activity? I can’t find any way to stop one short of turning the feature off and on again in System Settings. It seems to last long after a flight has landed

@DaleJohnsonESPN It’s quite remarkable that they don’t state the decision itself after “check complete.” Think of any other situation where a third party is making a decision that is executed by the person in command e.g. pilots and air traffic control. You read back the decision and confirm!!

@airandspace I remember this airline in my early days of flying - they ended up with aircraft like Fokker Friendships and the early generation of 737. It was domestic only and eventually merged with Air New Zealand, which at that time was international only. Both were NZ government owned then

@nzhammy Partly depends on whether there is an unlimited data plan. 64GB won’t be enough especially if there is a desire to have a large music library (and podcasts of into that sort of thing) downloaded to the phone. I’d go conservative and get 256GB

258 mm of rain at Auckland Airport yesterday according to @MetService. The High Intensity Rainfall Design System from @niwa_nz (https://t.co/FyAPgieQLr) indicates that (based on historic data) a 1 in 250 year event would be 184 mm. This event far exceeds historic precedent (1/5)

@toddrednz Good point. Agree, outliers always screw with trends until there is enough evidence to know if they actually were a part of a shift of the trend or are merely random outlier events
