Three shocking incidents expose how TDP cadres are attacking YSRCP candidates and tearing nomination papers inside election offices, even in the presence of police and election officials. Despite today's Supreme Court directions, violence against YSRCP candidates continued during MPTC and ZPTC nominations.

Chittoor: YSRCP ZPTC candidate G.V. Prakash from V. Kota Mandal, Palamaner constituency, was attacked by TDP cadres at the Chittoor Zilla Parishad office. His nomination papers were torn, and he suffered serious bleeding injuries. He was shifted to hospital.

Chilakaluripet: TDP cadres attacked YSRCP's 47th ward candidate Bellamkonda Narendra Chowdary and Kandula Srikanth Goud while submitting municipal B-Forms. The documents were torn, leaving Narendra unconscious. The attack occurred before the Returning Officer while police allegedly remained silent spectators.

Gorantla:In Penukonda constituency, TDP leader Subba Reddy, a close associate of Minister Savitha, allegedly entered the election officer's room, snatched MPTC nomination papers directly from the officer's hands and tore them.

Chandrababu Naidu's TDP is turning election offices into centres of intimidation. Attacking candidates and destroying nominations before officials is a direct assault on democracy. The TDP's fear of electoral competition is evident in its attempts to prevent opposition candidates from contesting.

100 మున్సిపాలిటీలు, మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్ల పరిధిలో పోటీలో ఉన్న అభ్యర్థుల జాబితాలను ప్రకటించవద్దని అధికారులను ఆదేశించింది.

సుప్రీంకోర్టు ఆదేశాల నేపథ్యంలో ఎస్ఈసీ ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. తదుపరి ఆదేశాలు వచ్చే వరకు అభ్యర్థుల జాబితాల ప్రకటనను నిలిపివేయాలని స్పష్టం చేసింది.

తొలుత 19 ప్రాంతాల్లోనే ఆపాలని భావించినప్పటికీ.. ఇప్పుడు మొత్తం 100 స్థానాల్లో నిలిపివేస్తున్నట్లు ఎస్ఈసీ ప్రకటించింది.

మున్సిపల్ ఎన్నికల ప్రక్రియపై తదుపరి నిర్ణయాన్ని రేపు వెల్లడిస్తామని రాష్ట్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘం తెలిపింది. దీంతో రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా మున్సిపల్ ఎన్నికల ప్రక్రియపై ఉత్కంఠ నెలకొంది.
