In the pouring midnight rain, YSRCP mayor candidate Vasu Yadav sat on the road outside the Tirupati Municipal Corporation office with his mother, Renuka Yadav, and appealed to the State Election Commissioner to ensure that he is allowed to file his nomination. It is the SEC’s responsibility to ensure that every eligible candidate can file a nomination without intimidation or obstruction. If Vasu Yadav is denied this opportunity, it will be a failure of the Commission to discharge its duty and ensure a free and fair election. YSRCP demands that the SEC immediately intervene and ensure that Vasu Yadav’s nomination is accepted in accordance with the rules. #SaveDemocracy
