@bet3rd This just shows why laying off dozens of employees and outsourcing to AI is never a good idea and incidents like this keep proving it again. People should avoid such platforms and never use them again. Unfortunately, most users don’t even understand the issue and trust blindly.
@CircumjovialLLC@IntCyberDigest They just push half-baked updates that destroy production machines and treat researchers like criminals when they try to report bugs responsibly.
Then wonder why people skip MSRC entirely.
The real issue isn’t the public disclosure, it’s the broken system that makes it necessary.
@paper3139@CircumjovialLLC@IntCyberDigest And the comparison to Apple’s hardware stack is ridiculous. Microsoft has failed at software security for decades, regardless of the stack!
@paper3139@CircumjovialLLC@IntCyberDigest CFAA? Seriously? The researcher didn’t hack any Microsoft systems, he simply disclosed a publicly known vulnerability in a tool used by millions. You’re defending the same broken system that drives researchers to public disclosure out of frustration.
@CircumjovialLLC@IntCyberDigest Do you also comment on Microsoft posts, the ones that regularly cause problems, for example, due to their poorly tested updates????
@2002tacomasr5@AlexPemOfficial You'll be surprised how many people do this and use it to pay a large portion of their bills. I think you're underestimating it.
@CaptainInsightX Arguing that you don't care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different from saying you don't care about free speech because you have nothing to say.

This tool has been part of my dev toolkit since 2022, and I'm glad I found it. Be sure to support the developer so he can continue to improve it in the future. Tools like this make a developer's day-to-day work a lot easier!
