I made a video about my torrid time at South Downs Way 100. I've never wanted to get hit by a train or fall off a cliff so much. https://t.co/B0B7X61yfc
@fallentoa@AshyCompounds@MartinSLewis@thismorning Hi Lisa, sorry I think my message came across badly - I was just trying to share info for others in terms of what the blue tick means i.e. it's not good for verifying public figures. Clearly this account is the real Martin Lewis. Not looking for attention at all. All the best!
@fallentoa@AshyCompounds@MartinSLewis@thismorning FYI a blue tick only means the user has an active paid subscription on X - it is not a verification of identity. Read more here: https://t.co/xaheB7qnU8
@JasonFitz1@JohnGoldman UKA (UK Athletics) uses the UK Association of Course Markers. They measured and certified the course in 2021 (it remains unchanged) and granted it certificate #2021326 (look it up here https://t.co/nwCutvdqAm). Its official length is 42,195.0 metres.
@sagharborcap I never thought I'd feel like an authority on how to walk into any hotel as if you're staying there as a paying guest while asking where the bathroom is.
Running videos on social media are weirder than ever
"I ran a marathon in $10 shoes from Temu"
"I ran a 50 miler without training"
Next
"I ate only tuna for a year and finished twelve Parkruns at once"
"I completed UTMB wearing flip-flops on my hands"
"I am AI and I won Comrades"
@mattglowinsky@CoachDistance 55 miles in 6 days with 60 mins per run is 4:09 per km or 6:04 per mile - I'm not sure I'd make it past Tuesday! For most people, it is a lot of time per week (or a lot of speed!)
