@SarAllyce these are the ppl that are so impressive to me, like i'm tired of fitness influencers who have always been in great shape, show me the normies who had to fight for it
@cybelethebest@emzanotti having kids with the wrong person just for the sake of having them earlier is FAR worse than waiting for the right person and oh no, you're more tired than when you were 20! i'd have bigger problems than being tired if i reproduced w/ who i dated at 20
@cybelethebest@emzanotti right like where are all these women that are choosing to put off babies until their 40's that could be having them now. it's not happening! women having kids in late 30s and 40s are either still having kids after already having earlier, or they met their spouse later!
@CCTran1996@TheCatholicEngr@emzanotti hell yeah. a baby anytime they come is a blessing. you could never have been born to younger versions of your parents bc you are the unique combination of one specific egg and one specific sperm! i'm glad you're here!
i'm going to lose my mind if i see one more panicky post about anne hathaway being pregnant convincing women to "think they have unlimited time" SHUT THE FUCK UP
waaahhhh muh TFR, but let me agonize over a woman actually having a baby

@wolfstrength@sam_gzstrength honestly kinda surprised at how many people do 5x5s and call it starting strength? maybe it was just my coach, but the only people in my classes i ever saw doing 5x5s were younger guys and after they had been training a while. definitely not the default programming...
@tunatweets it's funny/sad that we want what we don't have. when i was a kid i wanted brown eyes because britney spears had brown eyes, lol. i was trying to figure out how to even get colored contacts at one point!
@tunatweets@KayLynGians@cybelethebest yeah i had heard the same thing, that they were bumping up the "geriatric" thing to 40 instead of 35, but i was definitely labeled AMA at 37 with extra monitoring - of course, i had other reasons for extra screening too (ivf pregnancy) so not sure if they would have done less
@peachsweet_tea this becomes soooo obvious when you actually live with skinny vs fat people too. everyone tries to come up with all these complex theories of metabolism etc but it's like no just actually live with people and see how they eat, it is exactly what you would expect given their size
