@johnennis Sure. If it’s so close I can see no reason not to pull AI from deployment and withhold it until such time as it is truly AGI/ASI.

In this way we flatten the dislocation for certain populations and apply to all in one consistent way for all - ie when there is super abundance.

But transparency breeds trust and it’s disappointing that public officials - of all stripes - are increasingly reluctant to be transparent with us.
