CRI Old STARs Dr. Ansuman Satpathy @Satpathology@StanfordPath and Dr. Alexander Marson @MarsonLab and their collaborators at @GladstoneInst aim to help T cells avoid exhaustion in order to improve the effectiveness of existing immunotherapies. https://t.co/8FVhoZoFOv
@hemepathguy I had a case like this where I ordered ALK in a last ditch effort to rule out IMT because the node looked so weird and ended up succeeding despite my own stupidity.
@acweyand I’m curious how many US clinical labs actually bothered to verify a reference interval like this for their new automated hematology analyzers.
Very happy to share this work led by Dr. Kelly Cautivo with help from the whole lab and many amazing collaborators. IFNg constrains type 2 lymphocyte 'niche sprawl'. Tweetorial to come (if I can figure it out!) https://t.co/IRFfIw2dra
I'm brokenhearted by the loss of my friend & colleague, Steve Coutre, a giant in #hematology. Steve trained & mentored me & inspired many to love & pursue #hematology. He touched the lives of many patients & peers as a clinician, scientist, & leader. My thoughts are w/ his family
Definitely not how I imagined graduating from the @pewtrusts pew scholars, zooming alone in my office, but grateful for the community and the amazing science. Shoutout to classmates on Twitter @nilyapici @eazim @IbrahimCisse_
@chriscogbillmd@KMirza@hematogones@DennisOMalleyMD@lbsmithmd@sanamloghavi Seems like a difficult study. You can’t get 120 “normal” volunteers to donate their lymph nodes, so any attempt to do this would require retrospective review of patients that had nodes sampled presumably because they weren’t normal.
In an alternate reality, we are being regaled at @ilc4_2020 meeting right now in SF. Best wishes to everyone, looking forward to seeing my fellow ILCers and your amazing truths in 2021.
ICCS is proud to honor Dr. Fiona Craig w/ the Wallace H. Coulter Award for her lifetime contributions to the science, education & practice of Clinical Cytometry during #FlowICCS20

Congrats to Phi and the @AnnaMolofskyLab team for this beautiful work. Hippocampal neuronal IL-33 promotes local microglial ECM remodeling to reinforce synapses and memory consolidation. Dang!
