@aakashgupta This is dumb. Bettings is an order of magnitude smaller than property or income tax. It’s a tax on the stupid and has nothing to do with wealth.
@RTHB1975@PacificLegal It's always just cheaper to go buy a different a house. The CC has more money and lawyers than even the richest people that can afford California oceanfront property.
I don't know that these are exactly the same case and it's hard to distinguish basketball plays for sure. But in the YT example he's fouled on the drive and jumps stops to go off two feet but there is a noticeable delay between the two. In the cal example I think there is fair argument that he is in the act of shooting. Actually 1-2 steps into the shot. Impossible from angle to tell exactly what's going with timing of contact and feet. Not saying it's absolutely the right call or anything and I am a cal-hater but I don't think it's a terrible call.
Defender made it look REALLY bad by acting guilty.
@CoachHackGO I feel like 3-2 can be attacked through the middle pretty effectively. 131 not so much. This play would work well against both 32 and 131.
@EZebroni I don't even think it needs to get that big. If they made a SUV that was some form factor as ForeRunner or Rivian S for 75k it would sell like crazy. Put Rivian out of business instantly.
@HRaleighspeaks Perhaps your own math skills aren't what they should be. It's 25% of a sample of kids that were in the bottom 7.2% of math placements in the broader population. So more accurately its 1.8% of the total incoming UCSD population.
I think there’s a decent argument that it’s the mechanics of the slide that’s actually putting the QBs head at a much higher risk than a normal play. He’s basically dropping his head to waist level and tacklers are trying to hit at that level to wrap up.
It definitely sucks that this happens but there are a lot of random bad hits in a football game. My son a DE took a knee to the head from our own CB on a goal line play.
I think it’s time to rethink whether or when QBs are allowed to slide.
