For a country that stands for FREEDOM - we sure seem to forget what freedom really means. I personally am not given much choice in my ISP, pay a high amount for "the best internet", and can barely stream a show on Netflix without buffering. #netneutrality?

Social media is a tool for people to use. Like any tool, it is up to the person wielding it to determine how it is used. Therefore, I believe that social media can be both good, and bad. #COMM3120

@alexissmeier @Becks_42 I would say, yes! Not a direct connection, you are right. But becuase I am able to follow ppl on social media, whenever I bump into them in real life, I am able to follow up on their lives! So maybe it has the potential for connection?

I agree that we as a community need to work on not being so judgmental. But, as we saw with Morozov, realists tend to be the MOST judgmental... When you get on your feed, aren't you scrolling to judge and compare yourself to others? #COMM3120
