@Annboleyn08 The govt/state being secular does not cause "erasure" of your "storied" world. You remain free to practice your culture and beliefs. "Secular" only means that the state has no religion and gives preference to no religion. "Flatten our souls". Lol. Can you be any more dramatic?
@saliltripathi@BDUTT@BeerBicepsGuy Salil, your expectations of Barkha Te unreasonable. She has not even had the decency to apologise for vomiting out fake news without the barest of checks.
In re Kostic 5/6 #FedCir affirms PTO rejection of reissue application filed 6+ years after original patent grant bcz reissue app claims were broader in scope than the granted claims. Inventors' subjective intent that reissue claim scope was narrower isn't relevant.

The #USvGoogle search remedy trial wrapped up Friday, sparking a flurry of amicus briefs from various groups and companies.
Interestingly, several non-search engine rivals also seized the opportunity to squeeze under the remedy umbrella, asking for cover for their pet issues.
Led by one of the most overreaching DOJ remedy proposals in history, especially given the weak liability finding, this has now turned into a bizarre illustration of rent seeking by everyone and their cousin, hoping that since the court accepted a tenuous liability argument it will now be happy to give presents to a bunch of entities whose common denominator is looking for a handout. Maybe predictable, since the DOJ saw no need to even bow to reality, that no one else sees a need to either. The irony, of course, is that the more the court buys into this the less likely it survives on appeal, and that is already a fairly low odds bet. This thread highlights this nonsense well.
In 1984, Francis Crick described a biological conundrum: Memories last years, while most molecules degrade in days or weeks. “How then is memory stored in the brain so that its trace is relatively immune to molecular turnover?” he wrote in Nature. https://t.co/wgzhG1G8JS
@DivaJain2 In the time of war like this, all incomes above INR 50 Lakhs should be taxed at 100%. If fauji can sacrifice life, then dhandomaxxers can sacrifice income above INR 50 Lakhs
@nithinkd If you can list the chief's faults only later then that incentivises the chief to never end the war.
A well oiled military machine doesn't depend on one chief. It is able to replace one chief with another at will without any detriment.
Don't confuse the warrior with the chief.
A new @ScienceAdvances study identifies a neuroimmune pathway for treating sepsis, finding that dopamine inhibits expression of a critical regulator of immunometabolism. This suggests that pramipexole, a dopamine agonist, could effectively treat lethal infections. https://t.co/g6PuSQ4ezd
Researchers have found a new ally in the fight against a serious liver disease: a symbiotic gut-dwelling fungus that produces a molecule shown to be capable of reversing disease progression in mice.
The findings in Science may inform future therapeutic approaches to treat metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis, a highly prevalent disease. https://t.co/cCF0Mlj5tH, https://t.co/5t2ftFfWC9
