Agreed! When social media is incorporated into the class it could be beneficial to us students! Using twitter to look at memes during class, however, is another story 😛 https://t.co/2NDs0drzm1
I think a lot of people emphasize the negative of social media and teaching, but through this course and using Twitter it made me realize a lot of positives that can come with it and how easily and beneficial it can be when connecting with others.
Since some of us are questioning how we’re going to be studying for the final, it might be useful to go over each lesson and re-tweet the information/opinions we gather so that we get a bit of a refresher by both re-watching re-discussing the lessons 🤔 #EDUC307
@McCJune @patriciaz307 @katia_kp1 That’s the thing, I understand that the messages in some Disney films are inappropriate and stereotypical (and wrong), but as children we usually are not looking at those types of details. At least with me, I watched Disney movies as a kid for the entertainment factor.
@WholeHall Agreed, Disney seems to release movies that relate to what is going on in the world at the time, which could probably explain some of the points they mentioned in the Disney documentary and why they’re not as accepted now
Digital etiquette should be a class on its own. Nowadays we have social media classes, how to use media platforms, but i truly believe incorporating a digital etiquette class would teach people right from wrong online and avoid future harm. #lesson12#educ307
With our world being so technological nowadays, digital etiquette should be taught alongside in-person etiquette with the same emphasis of importance. #lesson12
