For generations, Black faith leaders have been pillars of strength, service, and community across New York City.
This week, I welcomed faith leaders to City Hall for a conversation about the issues facing Black New Yorkers, from affordable housing and unemployment, to education and the uncertainties that Black immigrant communities are navigating.
Their leadership extends far beyond the walls of their congregations, and I look forward to continuing our work to build a city that serves every New Yorker.
