They move up here, stuff our housing market then complain we don't have all the city amenities. They get the culture shock within the same state. I know people who had to move back cos they couldn't handle it.

@stevenaus95 @LecekLuke @SpNcA @AusPoll6 It's not the only factor but it's a big one. Interstate/overseas migration (70% ish of immigrants move to SEQ), supply and affordability. People in SEQ sell their houses, move north and buy houses with their sale profits. Worse in the regions since they had less to begin with.

They're more strictly controlled (must meet certain storage requirements, can't be used for self defence, mandatory minimum range sessions, semi autos are very hard to get licensed for). Laws vary a little by state.

In the past when our government was actually interested in looking after the people they rejected immigration, forcing us to innovate new ways to improve productivity. Now they just open the immigration tap. It's incredibly lazy, destructive policy.
