Town Planning Officer @Dc_Keesara Meghana tells citizens to remove the footpath encroachment themselves and then asks, “What were you doing for the last 2 years while it was being encroached?”

My answer is simple:

“Citizens are not the enforcement authority. The Town Planning Department is legally responsible for preventing and removing illegal encroachments. Instead of asking citizens what they were doing, the real question is: What were the authorities doing for the last 2 years? If officials had acted on time, pedestrians would not be suffering today.”

Please ensure the concerned officials discharge their statutory duties instead of shifting the responsibility onto citizens.

illegal flex banners placed along roads by Mangalya Shopping Mall in @DcGhatkesar @Dc_Keesara @DC_Kapra are creating serious inconvenience and posing a major safety risk to the public and motorists.

During heavy winds and rains, these banners can collapse onto the road, potentially causing fatal accidents.

Today, a long-pending drainage issue affecting the residents of Kumar Basti and the BC Hostel, old market road in Nagaram Division was successfully resolved.

My sincere thanks to @DcGhatkesar Deputy Commissioner Vani Reddy Garu for responding promptly and ensuring that this long-standing drainage blockage was cleared.

For the past 5 years, I have been continuously fighting for the protection and restoration of #Jalbaikunta Lake in @DcGhatkesar, in the interest of the public.

The Irrigation Department’s AE has confirmed that about 1 acre of FTL has been encroached upon by @MEIL_Group’s ICCOM Industry.

Along with restoring the lake, I have also been fighting to protect the parks and roads in the HMT Nagar Layout, which have allegedly been encroached upon by same @MEIL_Group iccom industry

I request @Comm_HYDRAA conduct a detailed inspection, remove the encroachments, restore the lake and public amenities, and take appropriate action.

@DcGhatkesar @ZC_Uppal as per the remarks of ACP Rajiv Reddy, it is clearly recorded that the construction has deviated from the sanctioned building plan and notices have already been issued. Despite this, the construction work is continuing. This raises serious concerns about the enforcement of building regulations.

Please do not close this complaint until actual enforcement action is taken, including stopping the illegal construction and taking action against the unauthorized portions, if required, in accordance with the sanctioned plan and the law.

Kindly clarify which specific deviated/unauthorized portions will be demolished and by when this action will be completed. The public deserves transparency and accountability.
