Blaming Israel for the migrant invasion into Spain is peak Jew Derangement Syndrome. People are so bold and proud to publicly display their mental deficiencies these days. It’s astonishing, really.
Mamdani holding up the bananas is very funny.
Bananas are like 20 cents each. Bananas are solved.
This is NYC. There are a million complex technocratic tasks waiting to be solved.
What are we even doing here?
Here’s an economics law:
If a grocery store wants to sell food 30% cheaper, one of only four things *must* be true:
1. Its suppliers are accepting 30% lower prices.
2. Its workers are accepting 30% lower wages.
3. Taxpayers are covering the difference through subsidies.
4. The store is operating at a loss, and will soon be out of business.
Prices aren't actually 30% lower - they've just been shifted somewhere else in the system.
Something that people have a very hard time understanding is that prices don't disappear. They allocate scarce resources. You can move costs around, hide them, or delay them, but you can't make them vanish.
Having said that, let them do this experiment. They will destroy small grocers and produce food shortages.
Perhaps people will learn a lesson then.
Perhaps this failed enterprise will represent another nail in the coffin for bad ideas that never work?
Yeah, right! 😂
Good evening I am your normie white man here to win a swing state by six to eight points
I love the police and hate commies and call my buddies slurs in private. AMA
Truly a saddening chart.
Weed is a loser drug. It makes you tired, lethargic, boring, and it smells terrible.
The decline of cigarettes is nice, but we could use a few more drinks and a little less ganja.
Marijuana is disgusting. Regular use is a one way door to becoming a retard and a loser.
Go out. Have a glass of wine. Be social. Get some sun. Take an uber. Fin.
Many young people today have historical amnesia. They say life was better before the Industrial Revolution, when people lived on farms and could “just enjoy life” and “spend time with each other.”
Reality check: people have never had more free time than they do now. @WSJFreeEx:
Thinking “protest” is “the bedrock” of NYC is simply proof that you don’t know (or particularly like) NYC—a city built on ruthless competition, consumption of both the fine and simple, wealth creation through hard work, and cultural richness. It’s a city where a bad month can lead the home crowd at Yankee Stadium to rain boos down on their best players; where a Wall St. millionaire can enjoy a folded slice of pizza that cost $2.00 and enjoy it just as much as the bus driver living paycheck to paycheck. It’s where you can be simultaneously within 15 minutes of almost any food you want: a hot dog, empanada, halal plate, sashimi, wiener schnitzel, crepe, tacos, biryani, or an overpriced salad bowl.
New York is a city defined by the bold pursuits, and gritty workaday routines, of those who call NY home. It is not, nor has it ever been, defined by the screeching ingrates who carry picket signs and repeat empty slogans.
Countless have repeated Sinatra’s “if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere,” because *that* is what makes NYC what it is. It’s *supposed* to be hard to make it here because this is where the best come to do their thing (though that’s becoming less true with every step backward taken by our so-called leaders).
BREAKING: Over 300 relatives of 9/11 victims have signed a petition urging organizers to ban Zohran Mamdani from the 25th anniversary memorial at Ground Zero.
Imagine like 1880 and your brain is so pure that a guy playing the fiddle around a campfire juices your dopamine so hard you literally get up and start dancing.
