Thank you for such an amazing first day response to the 1st LTE Single/Video ‘The Passage Of Time’...the comments have been overwhelmingly amazing! 🙏

Being on Twitter has made me realize that I am the anti-software-developer. I'm sorry everyone.
- I write documentation
- I write tests
- I comment code
- I love to participate in code reviews
- I provide estimates
- I think time spent on architecture & design are worth it
Great little article on spacing in morse code. As someone attempting to learn it, the number of times I've been tripped up by ops not using appropriate space is just silly.

Every customs agent, anywhere in the world, has the ability to take your phone. Prepare your device by:
- setting a complex passcode
- learning about Emergency SOS
Yesterday I discovered 'git corktree'. It allows you to have multiple working directories per repo enabling you to checkout multiple branches.
This solves one of my biggest issues git lately.
Items 6 and 12 are great. People often overlook the importance of a warm up (and cool down). Item 2 sounds like a great weekend activity and 1 sounds cruel.
RTOS context switching isn't magic, it's engineering! This week on Interrupt, Chris deeps dives into RTOS multithreading and walks us through the @real_FreeRTOS implementation. https://t.co/TCVhYOLU3t
Fascinating article from @QuantaMagazine about the brain and how it maps out memories. I'm always amazed at the level of reverse engineering required to help develop our understanding of the human body.

One day at Apple:
Dev1: "What do you think of FreeBSD?"
Dev2: "I like it!"
D1: "How about Mach?"
Dev2: "I like it!"
Dev2: "We need something original. What do you think of C++?"
Dev1: "It's complicated. Let's remove features."
Dev2: "That'd be perfect for our driver framework."
While reading @_bazad post on CVE-2016-1828 earlier today, specifically the "Overview on the OS X Kernel" section, it occurred how unconventional XNU is.
Discovered the After On podcast by @Rob_Reid recently. If you’re interested in wide range of science-related topics then check it out! The episodes on Ancient DNA and Happiness are fascinating.
Just discovered the undocumented —expand-full switch of the pkgutil command, super handy. It’ll unpack a macOS package as well as everything inside it (such as Payload files).
@zcutlip I think too often we see articles such as vulnerability write-ups and all the basics are “left as an exercise to the reader”. It great to see a concise article on how to actually get XNU debugging working.
We’ve released the first Security Overview for the Apple T2 Security Chip! Mac secure boot, storage encryption, and more, e.g.: “Mac portables with the T2 chip have a hardware disconnect that ensures the microphone is disabled when the lid is closed.”
