Introducing the Menstrual Action Challenge 2026 by Lola Cater Foundation under The Menstrual Talks (#TMT) Initiative. 💖

We are inviting teenagers aged 13–18 years across Nigeria to create a 1-minute video sharing how they would support 20 teenagers in their community to fight period poverty and menstrual stigma.

Selected Menstrual Action Ambassadors will receive:

A New Chapter for Literacy at Lola Cater Academy!

We are excited to announce that Lola Cater Academy, an initiative of Lola Cater Foundation, has been selected as a partner for the implementation of the Sun Books Literacy Project in Nigeria.

The Sun Books Literacy Initiative, a programme of the World Literacy Foundation (WLF), @WorldLiteracy is being implemented under the Direct Aid Program (DAP) of the Australian High Commission's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The initiative is designed to improve literacy outcomes among underserved, displaced, and marginalized children by providing innovative digital literacy resources, teacher capacity building, and community engagement.

As part of this collaboration:
📖 Our 6 teachers have been selected to participate in specialized literacy training.

💻 They will be equipped with practical, child-centred teaching approaches and modern digital literacy tools to strengthen learning outcomes for our pupils.

👧🏽👦🏽 Our children will benefit from improved literacy support, interactive educational resources, and a richer learning experience that nurtures a lifelong love for reading.

This partnership is another important step in our commitment to ensuring that every child, regardless of their background or circumstances, has access to quality education and the opportunity to thrive.

We are grateful to the World Literacy Foundation, the Australian High Commission, and everyone involved in making this opportunity possible.

Together, we are proving that displacement should never define a child's future.

The Dream That Found a Stage
A few months ago, many of these young people only had ideas in their notebooks.
In May 2026, they stood confidently before judges, mentors, and business leaders, pitching
those same ideas with courage and hope.
Some walked away with cash prizes. Others left with something just as valuable, belief in
themselves.
