DAY 7 – HEARING DAY
Today is not merely another date on the calendar; it is a test of truth, justice, and constitutional accountability. As the matter concerning the audio tapes publicly attributed to former Chief Minister N. Biren Singh comes up for hearing before the Supreme Court of India, we respectfully urge that the Court be allowed to hear the facts in full and without fear, favour, or political pressure.
The people of Manipur have endured immense suffering, displacement, insecurity, and loss of life. In such circumstances, every serious allegation connected to public office, governance, security failures, or violence deserves careful judicial scrutiny. Truth cannot be established through propaganda, rumours, social media campaigns, or selective narratives; it must be established through evidence, forensic examination, witness testimony, authenticated records, and due process.
This is not a demand for predetermined guilt. It is a demand for a strict, thorough, impartial, and transparent investigation so that the truth—whatever it may be—can emerge through lawful constitutional procedures. If the recordings are genuine, the nation deserves clarity and accountability. If they are fabricated, altered, or misleading, that too must be conclusively established through scientific examination. Only an independent judicial process can protect both justice and democracy.
We also urge that all relevant evidence be preserved, examined by competent experts, and placed before the appropriate legal forum. Witnesses, investigators, journalists, and victims connected to this matter must be protected from intimidation, coercion, or political influence. No individual, however powerful, should be above scrutiny, and no citizen should be denied justice because of political considerations.
The Supreme Court has long stood as a guardian of constitutional values and the rule of law. At this critical moment, a fearless and credible judicial process can help restore public confidence, reassure victims, and strengthen faith in democratic institutions.
Let the Court hear the facts. Let the evidence be tested scientifically. Let truth prevail over propaganda, justice prevail over power, and due process prevail over political pressure.
Truth. Justice. Due Process. One demand: Let the truth be tested.

OBSERVATIONS ON MULTIPLE MEITEI THIBAIKON MINAI CIVIL SOCIETY CLAIMS AND THEIR COUNTERCLAIMS IN MANIPUR:
Several civil society organizations in Manipur have made conflicting statements regarding their role and legitimacy. Their nature is egoistic and their character opportunistic, which has completely shattered unity within their society.
1. COCOMI stated: "We are the only legitimate platform. All matters will be routed through us." It also claimed support from Shri N. Biren Singh and MP Leishemba Sanajaoba.
2. AMUCO stated: "We are the only legitimate and dedicated organization for Manipur. No other entity can assume this role."
3. Haomee Federation stated: "We are the only qualified organization capable of leading negotiations under any circumstances."
4. UCM stated: "We are the only unquestionable organization for Manipur. Other groups have been formed by individuals with vested interests, opportunistic motives, and a desire for power."
5. FOCS stated: "We do not consider public opinion. No negotiations or solutions can take place without FOCS approval and understanding."
6. Meira Paibis, AMSU, DESAM jointly stated: "Regardless of statements by COCOMI, FOCS, and Haomee Federation, we remain the only viable option available in Manipur for a peaceful solution."
7. Arambai Tenggol stated: "Regardless of statements by COCOMI, FOCS, Haomee Federation, AMUCO, UCM, Meira Paibis, AMSU, DESAM, or any other organization, we are the only entity that will take the final decision."
8. Most of their secessionist groups, including PLA, UNLF, KCP, PREPAK, and KYKL, have been rendered largely ineffective. Since 2023, they have had limited access because they cannot operate in Kuki-Zo community areas as they did previously. They have become so irrelevant that their only remaining option appears to be alignment with Myanmar Junta forces, with whom they previously engaged in drug trafficking and illegal arms smuggling. Many unaccounted lives have been lost, ostensibly to protect their Golden Triangle narcotics business.
These conflicting assertions of exclusivity have contributed to fragmentation of representation within the Meitei Thibaikon Minai community. As a result, concerns have been raised that the Meitei will not be in a position to safeguard the interests of Kangleipak, which is already compromised. Within the approximately 650 sq km known as Manipur (Kangleipak), areas such as Nagaram, Tangkhul Avenue, Namdulong, Kakhulong, and Ragailong are reportedly likely to be brought under the framework of Greater Nagalim.
Furthermore, if elected Naga MLAs from Manipur are able to meet the Union Home Minister with the facilitation of the Chief Minister of Nagaland, and without the knowledge or approval of the Chief Minister, Yumnam Khemchand, or the Manipur Government, it raises serious questions about coordination and representation of the State’s interests.
The Meitei Thibaikon Minai should focus more on safeguarding the 650 sq km known as Manipur. As for the Kuki-Zo community, in 2023 the Hon’ble Home Minister Shri @AmitShah ji had already created a buffer zone after due discussion with the then Chief Minister, Nongthombam Biren Singh @NBirenSingh.

They (Naga) never miss an opportunity to call themselves a peace-loving community, but when the masks come off, the reality looks very different. Peace isn’t proven by slogans, speeches, or carefully crafted narratives, it’s proven by actions. And these actions speak louder than any claim they make. While presenting themselves as champions of harmony, they were busy preparing for confrontation. The gap between their words and their conduct is impossible to ignore.
The irony is hard to miss. Those who demand to be judged by their intentions should first explain their actions. You can repeat the word “peace” a thousand times, but it loses all meaning when your behavior tells a completely different story. In the end, people won’t remember the claims, they’ll remember what was done. Actions don’t lie, and neither does the truth they reveal.

Today, an incident occurred in Joujantek Village when Kuki civilians were going to work in the fields. NSCN-IM, ZUF Kamson Group, and Shan National Army/Junta military allegedly ambushed the civilians. One Kuki civilian was injured after being shot during the attack. It is alleged that NSCN-IM, ZUF Kamson Group, and Shan National Army/Junta elements are entering the India border through the protection of Tangkhul CSOs, Tangkhul pastors, Tangkhul women, and Meitei Meira Paibis in Ukhrul District and Kamjong District.
While Cobra Team and Central Forces are busy targeting the peace-loving Kuki community, and even killing civilians and claiming them as militants, NSCN-IM, ZUF Kamson Group, and Shan National Army/Junta military have had the opportunity to burn our ancestral villages and ambush Kuki civilians.
Shan National Army/Junta military are able to enter through these routes because, according to our concerns, the higher authorities and Cobra Team Central Forces have completely ignored the situation. In Naga-inhabited areas of Ukhrul District and Kamjong District, Central Forces are reportedly restricted, while NSCN-IM, NSCN Eastern Flank, and Shan National Army/Junta military continue entering through Tangkhul-dominated areas.
We appeal to Cobra Team and Central Forces to take full action against NSCN-IM, ZUF Kamson Group, and Shan National Army/Junta military for ambushing Kuki civilians.

One of the most shocking and disturbing allegations to emerge in recent times concerns reports that members of the Myanmar-based Meitei militant outfit KCP allegedly killed one of their own cadres and subsequently engaged in an act of cannibalism.
Such act would rank among the most grotesque and abhorrent crimes imaginable, violating every norm of human dignity and civilized conduct.
Cannibalism remains one of humanity's strongest taboos, condemned across modern societies as a practice beyond the boundaries of acceptable behavior.
The incident raises serious questions about the level of brutality, moral decay, and dehumanization that can take root within extremist militant organizations.
No ideology, grievance,or political objective can ever justify such barbarity.

The Government of India, through the Ministry of Home Affairs, has officially referred to NSCN-IM as a "terrorist gang" in its order directing the NIA to investigate the Thawai Kuki incident where Thangboimang Lunkim and Thenkhogin Baite were brutally murdered.
This official recognition reinforces what the Kuki people have consistently maintained that behind the recent attacks, killings, and acts of aggression against the Kuki community,NSCN-IM remains a principal perpetrator and driving force of terror.
For far too long, attempts have been made to obscure the identity of those responsible for violence against innocent Kuki civilians. The MHA's reference serves as a significant acknowledgment of the threat posed by NSCN-IM and underscores the need for accountability, justice, and an impartial investigation into all acts of violence committed against the Kuki people.
Facts matter.Truth matters. And justice must prevail.

The statement issued by Manipur Police leaves little room for ambiguity:
"During the course of investigation,it has been established that the NSCN-IM planned and executed the attacks leading to the deaths of two persons." These are not allegations from social media or partisan narratives, but findings emerging from an official investigation.
The brutal killing of Thengin of Thowai Kuki and Thangboimang of Shangkai stands as a tragic reminder of the human cost of https://t.co/FSbFVZ5W81 facts continue to emerge, attempts to distort the truth or shift blame cannot erase the findings placed on record by law enforcement authorities.
Justice demands accountability.
The families of the victims deserve answers, and those responsible for planning and executing these attacks must be held accountable under the law. Lasting peace can only be built on truth, not denial, propaganda, or selective outrage.
