I was curious about the Manusmriti. So I started reading it myself.

And the more I read, the more I understood why Dr. B. R. Ambedkar burned it. And honestly? He was right.Because what do you do with a text that says:

Ambedkar rejected a social order based on birth and hierarchy–and helped shape a Constitution based on equality, liberty, justice and dignity. And today, when CM Yogi Adityanath defends or invokes Manusmriti, I have one question for my BJP-supporting friends,Please stop and think about what exactly you’re supporting. It’s 2026.

I don't travel extensively by air, but I do travel once or twice a year. Let me share something that happened in early December last year.

My wife, who was pregnant then, and I were coming back from a vacation. We landed around 12:30 AM and stepped out with our luggage. It had rained heavily that night, and rain water mixed with sewage water had pooled both outside the arrival gate and in the Aerohub parking lot. There was no other option than walking on that dirty water, inhaling the stench and lugging around our heavy bags. This is the plight of the airport that serves as a gateway to our city. People of all ages and all nationalities travel through it. ஏதோ நான் இந்த ஊர்க்காரன்ங்கிறதால அதப் பொறுத்துக்கிட்டேன். மத்தவங்களும் பொறுத்துக்கணும்னு எதிர்ப்பார்க்கக் கூடாது. And their experience comes with its own consequences.

This airport doesn't need improvement. It's so horrible that it needs a complete overhaul.

A new airport, though 40 km away, would solve this issue. Plus, metro connectivity was planned for the new airport. So getting there wouldn't be that difficult.
