#MTBoS question : I was thinking about removing leveled math classes and SBG, and how it might work: such as offering optional “challenge” standards for Ss interested in pursuing certain later math courses. Does anyone know of a school that does something like this?

@IllustrateMath My kids came up with a whole "side tracked to the gov. offices to do a name change" story for Noah and Tyler between Unit 4- 2.3 and 3.4. Made my day.

Spontaneous S question we then explored: "If I took a circle's circumference and divided it into 4ths and made a square, wouldn't they have the same area?" A much needed reminder of things I love about teaching. This year has made it hard to remember I do love teaching. #MTBoS

HDY do inquiry based via DL while also managing an in person class that’s inq. based w/o getting close to Ss or them getting close to others? I think this time will bring some change to education but I also feel like I’m going back in time pedagogically, just through technology
