@FibroJedi ... the profiling that creates targeted ads ( and I do get the irony of using an app that does exactly the same but some control does exist π ). Thanks again and happy hunting ( if the servers stay up long enough! π€£ )
@FibroJedi Hi, thanks for looking into it and the details. I appreciate that, for you, there is a fine balance of offering content and making a living for yourself. I'm not against ads, they're a necessary evil, I'm against targeted ads, so I don't want to block your income, just....
@AliWalshGF I was 36, and it was only because I was using a personal trainer and he'd given me a food plan that didn't include bread, pasta etc, and I unconsciously removed gluten. After a month, no pain, ulcers etc. After a few months I ate a sandwich and was ill within 15 mins. Went to GP.
@guntrust@GeorgeTakei You can be single and still be part of a large family, with family values. You can adopt and have family values. You can give birth and not have any family values at all. If you have a penis you can't give birth, so where do the family values come from then? Hmmmm.... π€
@andy_neal1969@ValliAnn @i_iratus @Anderson Tell me, Andy the atheist, which shops haven't had Easter eggs in them for the last couple of months? Which bank holiday has been cancelled? Which shops have removed all Easter cards? Where isn't Easter being celebrated?
@TheKiwiFromNZ @Nerdsauce1@SoVeryBritish When you follow the thread of that post, someone has shown that the boxes do have Easter on them, and the poster isn't an official Cadbury's poster, but that truth wouldn't fit the narrative.
@AliWalshGF So, Ofcom basically saying content only matters if said by an expert. Non-experts can say what they want to, give incorrect / misleading information, and it doesn't matter. π
@AliWalshGF@Mairebc Symptoms are not a sign of sensitivity though. A Coeliac who has no visible symptoms isn't less sensitive than a Coeliac who vomits 5 times.
@Supermchef @jos6005 @BBCBreaking@coopuk Gluten free store brand gravy from Morrisons has gone from 60p to Β£1.49p. Other "Free From* items have increased considerably. You think normal food is expensive, have a good allergy / intolerance / auto-immune issue and see how much extra it costs.
@Cerno_B @NJgal4lyfe @fuckyouiquit The term is deliberately used, in the same way as quiet quitting, to make the employee in the wrong when it's the organisation / manager that is at fault.
