Captain Kulvinder Singh Bali assumed Command of INS Dronacharya, the Gunnery & Missile training school of Indian Navy, located at Fort Kochi, from Commodore Manav Sehgal, VSM on 14 May 26. Prior to this appointment, Captain Kulvinder Singh Bali was the Commanding Officer of the Base Depot Ship #INSGomantak at Goa Naval Area.

An alumnus of National Defence Academy and a second generation Gunnery specialist, he was commissioned into the #IndianNavy on 01 Jan 2004. A graduate of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and Army War College, Mhow, the officer has commanded IN ships Kora, Ajay and XFAC 83 in his past tenures.
