Underrated life advice: Obsess over your own progress. Get so busy improving yourself that you don’t have time to complain, gossip, or compare. Peace isn’t found in the absence of noise. It’s earned by being too focused on your own growth to hear it.
Delayed gratification is so important for recovering from burnout & healing the nervous system. Waiting until midday to check your phone, waiting a week to open packages, resets from social media, taking the longer route home after work, etc. Patience and slowness is grounding.
