Last night around 10:38 pm on Kadubeesanahalli-Panathur Road near Vibgyor School, a couple in a car was attacked by an assailant on a bike. Thankfully, they survived thanks to the intervention of bystanders. This sets a dangerous precedent for the IT corridor.
We received this video in our ERT group. The couple has gone to PS to lodge a complaint.

Subject: Urgent Request to Conduct BBMP Election | Day 13 Demand

Respected @siddaramaiah, @DKShivakumar,

Lakes and Rajakaluve are what make Bengaluru's weather pleasant. These lakes play a significant role in maintaining the biodiversity of the city. However, due to aggressive urbanization and improper maintenance, these lake systems are dying. With more than 100 lakes to be taken care of, it is very difficult to maintain them without local support. Given that we don't have any local representative to listen to our lake-related grievances, we shared our concerns with Hon. @osd_cmkarnataka about the mass death of fish in one of the lakes in East Bengaluru. Despite assurances, the lake was not cleared, and the fish rotted in the water, inviting major diseases.

Currently, there is no elected representative to whom we can voice our grievances effectively. Whenever we inquire about the deplorable road conditions, our MP redirects us to the MLA, and the MLA, in turn, deflects responsibility to the BBMP. However, the BBMP remains unresponsive, primarily because it is no longer overseen by an elected body. This lack of accountability exacerbates the problem.

We urgently request the immediate conduct of the BBMP elections. Restoring an elected governance structure will empower citizens and ensure that our concerns are addressed promptly. The deteriorating conditions in our beloved #NammaBengaluru are disheartening and call for immediate action.

We would like to bring your attention to Hadosidapura Lake in Bellandur. Currently, the lake is full of dead fish and is invaded by water hyacinth. This lake was rejuvenated, and sewage was not flowing directly into it. However, due to many upcoming residential projects, sewage flow has increased multifold. Please take immediate steps to save the biodiversity of this lake! 🙏

This is not just an accident in Kalyani Nagar, Pune. It's a murder committed by:

- Corrupt police
- Corrupt system
- Corrupt administration
- Corrupt politicians
- Corrupt businessmen
- Corrupt excise department
- Corrupt showroom owner who delivered the car without registration.

If:
- The pub had closed as per the rules,
-if The pub had not served alcohol to minors as per the rules,
-if The showroom had not delivered the car without registration as per the rules,
- if Parents had not allowed their minor child to drive the car as per the rules,
- if Traffic police had acted on the car,

then these two young lives would not have been lost on road. Might have been spared.

Ordinarily traffic police are quick to penalize us for minor infraction they aggressively fine us for not wearing helmets, not carrying licenses, or PUc certificates. So, why didn't they take action on a flashy car without a number plate speeding on a deserted road at night?

Moreover, when the police arrest the culprit who destroyed two families, they provide him with biryani, pizza, and burgers behind closed doors. The shameless, wealthy brat eats without any guilt for taking two lives.

Does the court work on holidays to deliver justice or to save the accused from punishment? In just a few hours, bail is granted as if presenting a NAZRANA. This is the sentiment.

Two lives were lost, and the court granted bail on a Sunday as if awarding a prize, with conditions like:
- Writing a 300-word essay,
- Taking advice from a psychiatrist,
- Learning traffic rules for 15 days.

More punishment is given in schools. Here, two youngsters died.

-For driving without a license, the penalty is three months imprisonment.
-For underage driving, the penalty is three months imprisonment.
-For drunk driving, the penalty is six months imprisonment.
-For overspeeding, the penalty is one month imprisonment.

Even for traveling without a ticket on a train, the punishment is six months. But for killing 2 youngsters Yet here, bail is granted in 15 hours. Astonishing.

The height of shamelessness is that a legislator comes forward to save the accused and tries to cover up the case. According to Pune Mirror/Punekar News, Vadgaon Sheri MLA Sunil Tingre is the one who tried to fabricate that the accused was not driving, but the eyewitnesses rejected this. If true, such individuals should be expelled from their party.

I don't know the deceased, but this could happen to you or me tomorrow. So, we must speak up. At least, we should stand tall before this hardened system.

The Pune Police Commissioner has taken serious note of the immediate bail granted. Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also directed the administration to take strict action against the accused and ordered an investigation into the CCTV footage at the police station. We hope for action and justice!

-जर नियमाप्रमाणे पब बंद असते

ऐरवी साधा हेल्मेट नाही घातला, लायसन्स, पियुसी जवळ नाही म्हणून ट्राफिक पोलिस टोळधाड पडल्यासारखे अंगावर येऊन आपल्या खिश्याचे लचक तोडतात. मग रात्रीच्या वेळी सुनसान रस्त्यावर बिना नंबर प्लेटची डोळ्यात भरणारी महागडी गाडी सुसाट पळतेय हे दिसत असूनही वाहतूक पोलिसांनी कारवाई का केली नाही.? 

 वरुन मागच्या दाराने पोलिस ज्याने दोघांना चिरडलं, २ कुटुंब उध्वस्त केली अश्या नालायकाला ताब्यात घेतल्यावर मागच्या दाराने बिर्याणी पिझ्झा बर्गर पुरवतात...आपल्याहातून २ जणं मेल्याचा जराही गिल्ट नसलेला बड्या बापाचा पोरगा तो निर्लज्जपणे खातो सुद्धा. 

मेलेल्यांना न्याय द्यायला नाही तर आरोपीला शिक्षेपासून वाचवण्यासाठी सुट्टीच्या दिवशी न्यायालय कामकाज करतं का? आणि काही तासात नजराणा पेश करावा तसा जामिन मंजूर होतो. अशी भावना आहे

दोघांचा जीव गेला आणि न्यायालयाने रविवार असून बक्षिस द्यावं तसा जामिन दिला, त्यात अट काय तर

-३०० शब्दांचा निबंध लिहीण्याची
- मानसोपचार तज्ञाचा सल्ला घेण्याची
- १५ दिवस वाहतूकीचे धडे गिरवण्याची...यापेक्षा जास्त शिक्षा तर शाळेत द्यायचे...इथे २ पोरं मेली... 

-विदाऊट लायसन्स गाडी चालवल्यास ३ महिने तुरुंगवास
-अल्पवयीनाने वाहन चालवल्यास ३ महिन्यांचा तुरुंगवास
-मद्यपान करुन वाहन चालवल्यास ६ महिन्यांचा तुरुंगवास 
- ओव्हरस्पिडींग असल्यास १ महिन्याचा तुरुंगवास 

अहो साधं रेल्वे मध्ये विनातिकीट प्रवास केला तरी ६ महिन्यांच्या तुरुंगवासाची शिक्षा आहे आणि इथें १५ तासात जामिन...वा....

यात निर्लज्ज पणाचा कळस म्हणजे दोघांचा जीव घेणाऱ्या आरोपीला वाचवण्यासाठी एक आमदार पुढे येतो आणि प्रकरण दाबण्याचा प्रयत्न करतो हे तर भयंकर आहे. पुणेकर न्यूज/ pune mirror च्या दाव्यानुसार वडगाव शेरीचे आमदार सुनील टिंगरे हेच ते नेते आहेत ज्यांनी आरोपी गाडी चालवत नव्हता असा बनाव रचण्याचा प्रयत्न केला पण प्रत्यक्षदर्शीनी तो हाणून पाडला.  हे खरं असेल तर अश्यांची पक्षातून सुद्धा हकालपट्टी व्हायला हवी. 

मेलेल्या दोघांना मी ओळखत नाही... पण उद्या हेच तुमच्या माझ्यासोबत सुद्धा घडू शकतं.. म्हणून आपण बोललं पाहीजे... निदान या निर्ढावलेल्या व्यवस्थेपुढे तेवढं तरी ताठ मानेने आपण करायला हवं.. 

तडकाफडकी मिळालेल्या जामिनाची पुणे पोलिस आयुक्तांनी गंभीर दखल घेतली आहे. 
तसच गृहमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनीही आऱोपीवर कठोर कारवाईच्या सुचना प्रशासनाला दिल्या आहेत. तसच पोलिस स्टेशनमधलं सीसीटीव्हीही तपासण्याचे आदेश दिलेयत. कारवाई होईल, न्याय मिळेल ही अपेक्षा!!!
