There are reports of meetings between Pakistan's ISI officials and former Afghan leaders who now live in #Turkiya. If true, this is a bad sign and indicates that Islamabad would like to deploy them for propaganda and as recruiting agents for impoverished young Afghans to spread violence and death in #Afghanistan, while they themselves remain comfortably in exile. These former Afghan leaders should know better than to become pawns in ISI's games. The #Pakistan security establishment very likely intends to use these leaders and recruits as bargaining chips with the Taliban to get concessions and then abandon them, as some have experienced first hand in the past.
Taliban Lies and Hypocrisy: A Legacy of Oppression
In 1996, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, a top Taliban official, claimed the Taliban weren’t against women’s education. The truth? The Taliban shut down education and work opportunities for women during their first oppressive regime.
Today, their cruelty of the fascist regime continues. In their latest move, the Taliban banned Afghan women from training as midwives, forcing pregnant women to rely on male doctors for delivery.
The Taliban aren’t just liars; they’re destroyers of dreams, erasing the hopes and futures of an entire generation of Afghan women. And those who defend this cowardly, barbaric regime? They’re complicit in its atrocities.
🚨 Stand for Afghan women!
🚫 Speak out against Taliban hypocrisy!

Left: Conservative Party Home Secretary Suella Braverman, "These are hate marches"
Right: Former Co-Chair of the Conservative Party Baroness Warsi, "Israel is not Netanyahu, the Palestinian people are not Hamas, and the protestors on the streets of London are neither protesting for Hamas, nor are they hate marches"
"Protests planned for weeks. They were in discussions with the Met police for weeks. The route was well away from the Cenotaph for weeks. And yet last week the Home Secteray decided to embolden and make this a political issue knowing full well what the route of the march was going to be"
"That's the way she operates, she fights culture wars. She doesn't fix things, she breaks things"
"I think Suella Braverman is dangerous and divisive. If you look at her rhetoric, it's always about pitching A against B"
"Some of my Conservative colleagues in government project as patriots but they are indeed arsonists. They’ve set this country alight. They pit community against community. They create these fires. That is not the job of a government. The job of a government is to keep us all safe. You do that by creating a sense of ease, not by fighting culture wars"
Merely one month ago in Gaza. Civilians celebrating their graduation. A day filled with dreams of the future and a good life to come. I wonder where these civilians are now?
As Nawaz Sharif plans to return to Pakistan after spending four years in London, just how do the Pakistani expats feel he has fared in connecting with them
